Update: I am pleased to report GM of Basil Toyota,Shannon Wilsman, called me today. I was refunded $1750, apologized to, as well as assured that Chris screwed up royally. His behavior is absolutely not condoned or in line with the dealership or it’s policies. They said my appraisal in writing would be good whether an employee was actually gone . James Porco had nothing to do with the trickery and he gave me a fair appraisal. Shannon Wilsman is a standup guy and sincerely wishes it didn’t happen, and although he cannot fix it ethically with me, he wanted to at least make it financially right. I appreciate and accept his apology. The only thing better than this result today would be if it never happened to begin with. I do not blame the entire dealership for one bad employee. Chris Rados certainly does not have my approval, but I don’t know why he did what he did to me. It’s not my problem and the dealership can deal with him accordingly as they see fit. Thank you Mike Basil and Shannon for making this as right as you could. I will leave here feeling much better about the only dealership I’ve purchased from over the last 12 years.
