I called Big Nissan to find out if this was standard practice. They did indicate that even thought the battery is warranted there was an install charge. I told customer support that I was not given the option to bring in just the battery, so i felt I was lead into a situation in which i would have to pay for the install. They are refunding me the cost of install. I am a retired Navy Jet mechanic. Installing a battery is well within my capabilities. After this experience, I will not be bringing my Armada in for any work that I can do or that may get me charged for something I can not opt out of.
