Solid, more laid back experience My experience with Baxter went well. I have a strong opinion on the car game and the sharks who you have to deal with. The showmanship, then the offer My experience with Baxter went well. I have a strong opinion on the car game and the sharks who you have to deal with. The showmanship, then the offer, the wait, the new offer, etc. Barf! Not so this day. I dealt with a straight up guy in Mike Utts. I got the feeling right away that he was more about my happiness than a sale, he even basically said he would gladly see me leave rather than to leave with a car or payment I didn't like. We talked about what I wanted and the pros and cons of each, taking some time figuring out what I was after. Mike was a matchmaker and got me into a Ford Fusion 2019 with some extras that I didn't have to pay for because someone didn't like it. I had a lot of reservations until I drove it. Having four Acuras in a row before buying my first American car, I naturally took a minute to be impressed with what it offered but today, I love this car and am glad I was matched with it. Mike and company worked with me on financing, with the price of the warranty and got me out of there before the cows came home. I left feeling like I got a deal. I would recommend Mike and company at Baxter to anyone- in fact, I already have! More
I loved my experience with Baxter ford south. My salesman JT was awesome! Very friendly and a nice guy to talk with while they ran my credit in finance. I spent about 6 hours in the dealership making this deal. It seemed JT wanted to make me feel like I was getting the best deal as possible, which I feel like I did get this best deal I possible could have. Finance was good I told them that I wanted a low interest rate and they worked with multiple banks and came to the conclusion of a 6.49%. Which is a little higher than I wanted. I told them I wasn’t happy with that interest rate and I knew I could get a better one. After about 20 minutes they came back with a final offer of 4.29%. That is what I knew I could get. I took the deal. Absolutely love the car and hope they keep their promise on my free extra key fob.(Which I have in writing) More
I brought the 3 in one warranty. I was told anytime my tires have a hole, worn down, had a bubble, they would replace them. I made sure before I signed for the warranty, if they would make sure all tires tires have a hole, worn down, had a bubble, they would replace them. He is very personable, took time to listen to our needs and his communication throughout the whole process was great. I experienced minor mechanical issues couple hours after purchase. Although I'm surprised their service team did not catch this during inspection, I thank JT and anyone involved for helping to resolve this issue. Overall, I recommend JT to anyone who wants to purchase from Baxter South. My experience with Finance could have been better. I cannot speak for the whole department, but the gentleman I worked with was a bit pushy when I told him I was not interested in the additional insurance package. I could go and on, but my goal is not to bash anyone. Regardless of this experience, I would still recommend Baxter to anyone in the market for a used or new car. More

Couldn't be any happier with the service! When you think of car shopping, I'm sure you, as well as I thought, it's a time consuming major pain in the butt, until I went to Baxter south. Every time I've bought a car I cringed at the idea of going into the dealership but this experience was MUCH different. I had a young man by the name of mikeil help me get into a new vehicle. He made the process so easy and made me feel so comfortable at the same time. I felt like a friend and not just someone to make money off of. I definitely encourage you, if your in the market for a great vehicle, to stop out at Baxter and ask for mikeil, he'll take the headach of buying a vehicle away and make the whole process an enjoyment. They lie to your face! Horrible experience! Had to go back numerous times for paperwork we did decide to take off the over priced warranties which they pushed on us. Then th Horrible experience! Then they called and told us the truck would be done at 5:00 and that they could take off the camper shell and move it to the new truck, got there and was told they couldn't get the truck out of the garage the doors wouldn't open up. REALLY!! Went home without the truck. I called the salesman Ian and he said even though it was his day off he would be when we picked up the truck the next day. Lie #1 He wasn't there. We did get a phone call saying the truck was ready at noon. I was upset that Ian wasn't there and the GM was trying to tell me that his kids got sick and he had to take them to doctor lie #2. I told him that I couldn't understand why we had to come back so many times to pick up the truck missed my granddaughters soccer game and then the truck wasn't even ready. Could have called and told us it wasn't ready but no phone call! The GM said he would look into why it wasn't ready and would give us a call the next day no phone call lie #3. Also the after market products we had added were not tested and didn't work properly! Didn't know this till we were driving home. We get ready to go and no intransit paperwork had to go back in and ask for it! Then we get in the truck and I ask do you have the second set of keys nope had to back and ask for them! Since the lights weren't working we called back to dealership and more phone calls we had to take it to the place they had the truck worked on. And they have the nerve to bash other dealerships like those in Council Bluffs. Linda Greiner More
