They brought in a vehicle from an out of state sister store in just over 24 hours to get me a new vehicle ASAP. There was no pressure to purchase, and I like when they let you test drive a car without a salesman in the car. There was no pressure with the paperwork and deciding if I wanted any of the add ons like extended warranty and clear coats. When Reggie delivered the car he took his time to help set up the car for me. He was professional and patient. This was a terrific experience with purchasing a new vehicle! Thank you! More

We drove 620 miles round trip from The Quad Cities to have my 2019 VW Tiguan serviced at Baxter, where I bought it. I have been coming to this dealership for almost 10 yrs. I continue to return, because of guys like Juan, who go over the top to make sure that my experience is a great one! Sometimes, you have to wait for parts, and they give you a brand new beautiful loaner to experience till your car is ready. Awesome customer service. Start to finish we had an absolutely amazing experience with Baxter VW. Caleb was fantastic -- never felt like he was trying to make a sale but was so honest, informative and helpful. He delivered the car to us to test drive, made sure all the paperwork could be done virtually and then delivered the car to us on a weeknight after dinner so we didn't have to drag our kids anywhere or waste time sitting in a dealership. Could not recommend more and we love our Atlas :) More
The sales team is always really kind and considerate at least when I worked with them in finding my Tiguan. Even though they didnāt end up having the specific car to buy they helped me all the same in my d least when I worked with them in finding my Tiguan. Even though they didnāt end up having the specific car to buy they helped me all the same in my decision process. Now almost 4 months and 10,000 miles later I have consistently used this location for any service or concerns of the vehicle. I take serious pride in maintaining my vehicle to ensure itās reliability far into the future. Juan who works in the service department is always kind and knows me as a āregularā always confirming to not wash my vehicle as it was ceramic coated when I purchased it by a local detailing place and cannot be washed by normal car washes. Juan has consistently taken every concern or request regarding my visits seriously in a manner that made me feel understood and heard. That is important because if I have a concern I expect it to be relayed to the service technician in an equal manner of concern by the service advisor and I believe he understands this and does this well as if it was his own vehicle. Where as other advisors at Baxter VW and even Subaru will often show a lack of understanding and or concern even if respectful and end up simplifying a concern with inadequate explanation to a technician who will be looking over the actual car. This issue can lead to missed issues and create repeat service visits for customers which no one will enjoy. If I had one minor concern it would be scheduling can sometime be difficult working a normal 8-5 schedule. I wish for those who do not mind waiting, that there was less discouragement from setting a 4PM appointment time, as well as allowing more ability to be scheduled on a Saturday even if a wait time. My car needed infotainment update and apparently this work of plugging the car into the VW system to apply the update was not something any tech would be able to do on the Saturday a week from when I was scheduling my appointment, which I found hard to believe. In conclusion take Juanās customer interaction and service advisory skills and train everyone else. Or just ensure the necessity to listen and fully and accurately relay a customers concern or vehicle issue to a technician in order to allow them accurate diagnosis and repair of any issue. You could give this advice to any dealer but I have seen it across Baxter dealers so being able to work with Juan with my VW has been a great breath of fresh air, and sadly Iām not sure the experience extends to every other advisor. Anyways service has been great but sometimes it can be less then convenient in getting an appointment scheduled. More
