Went to the service center at Bay Ridge Honda for some noises and some kinda of fluid drips. Dropped off on Wednesday, for the clinking/clunking noises from the front suspension and left side drips. Test droved it with the service manager didn't produce the noise. Still left it there to see if they can find any drips. With my persistence, i looked on line for any service bulletin for the clinking/clunking noises from the front. "Bingo" I found it. Thursday, Told the service manager about it, he still says no noise. The way I drive and the way he drives "Like a Granny" would never make the noise come up. So I droved it for about 30 mins and the noise came back. Went back there and and showed him, and he droved it around the block. "Confirmed" noise was from the front suspension. He goes and orders the parts for the service bulletin and asks me if I wanted to take the car or leave it. I decided to take the car back for the weekend and drop it off next week for the service. He tells be to goto the cashier for the paperwork to get the car. The nice cashier tells me its 100 something dollars. I'm like what, i'm not paying for it. I talk to the service manager and he tells me that i'm paying for the service they done for the leak on the right side.. (When I stated the drip on the "LEFT Side") He said they pressurized the cooling system. (I never gave the OK for that service to be done, I just asked to check it out) They did the work without my authorization and tried to charge me for it. With us arguing about the cost, he tells me to pay half and I of course didn't agrees, since I never told them to do the work. Now he tells me to take my car, leave and he'll cancel the order for the parts for the service bulletin. So I get home called up Honda of America and complained about this service manager and dealer. ( DON'T LET THIS DEALER GET YOU FOR ANYTHING. ) Hopefully, they will not be able to keep their "Presidential award for excellence." More
Everyone at this dealership were very friendly and courteous. We were shown the car that we were interested in. We did get the entertainment center and wheel locks. On the day that we were supposed to get the new car, we decided to add Lojack system. While we waited for it to be installed, everything else was explained to us. Once the car was ready, our salesrep showed us the features and controls of the car. The radio had been preset to our favorite stations. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. More

Very good Experience at this dealership. After seeking to replace my daughter's 2008 Civic with a bigger car. We decided to go with an Accord Coupe. Unfortunately,the 4 cylinder were no where to be found (en replace my daughter's 2008 Civic with a bigger car. We decided to go with an Accord Coupe. Unfortunately,the 4 cylinder were no where to be found (end of season) so we went with the 6 cyl. instead.The transfer from one car to the other was extremely smooth and my daughter LOVES her new car. Our used car sales rep, Jeff Goldberg, gave us his undivided attention and was most professional in handling all aspects of the purchase. We got a great price on the purchase of the 2007 Honda Accord, a fair price for the trade-in of our Honda Element, and thanks also to the Costco Certified Pre-Owned Used Car Buying discount program, we received an additional savings on our purchase. I bought my second Accord from Jeff yesterday. The first was a total loss last month that I purchased from him in March of last year. I knew I would get a very fair price with him and none of the extra charges that usually come with buying a car. There was no end to the courtesy, patience, good advice and service that I received from Jeff and Bay Ridge Honda. The Accord that I got was probably the best deal on a car in the last 10 years. There is no question about it, if you need a car, go see Jeff. I was exceptionally cautious about buying my first car and he extinguished all of my concerns which is why I came back for my second one and intend to do so for every car I buy. More

After searching for a vehicle at multiple Honda dealerships, I settled on purchasing at Bay Ridge Honda because of the professionalism of every employee I came across. It did not matter whether or not I was in to make an inquiry or ready to purchase, I was treated with the utmost courtesy (I walked into the dealership 2x). It was because of this that my husband and I decided we were in the right place. Jeff, the salesman who handled the transaction from start to finish, is by far the most pleasant salesman I have ever met. And believe me, my vehicle search was pretty exhaustive so I dealt with quite a few of them. Jeff answered every question and ensured a smooth transaction. I told him what my budget was, what car I wanted, and the interest rate I would be comfortable with. Not only did he work hard to get what I wanted, he went above and beyond. The final price and interest rate were well below my expectations, and I still got the car that I wanted without cutting back on any other goodies that came along with the car. I didn't have to haggle or negotiate hard to get what I wanted, as I had done in other dealerships. I always felt like I was in a constant battle with those salesmen. What annoyed me the most was when I set a price and the dealer would come back with something over budget. I had to explain each and every time that I set a budget for a specific reason. I also walked into dealerships with a Capital One blank check. I searched for a vehicle 1/2 of what my limit was and the dealers would continually push me to find something in the higher price range. Jeff did not do any of those things. He made me feel comfortable. Jeff didn't call me back until what was set is what we agreed upon prior to me signing applications and applying for financing. The end result-lower price, lower interest rate, extended warranty, and within my monthly payment guideline. Jeff, you're the best!!! I also met with Frank Collo who finalized the paperwork. He explained the details of every form that I needed to sign (didn't try to pull a fast one). I was in his office for almost an hour reviewing everything. He ensured that I understood exactly what I was paying for and why. Experiencing the professionalism at this dealership has surely made a great impression on me. My sister is looking into purchasing a vehicle in the near future and I've already recommended Jeff to her. Bay Ridge Honda is an EXCELLENT place to shop for your next vehicle. I purchased a used 2007 Honda Accord with a cashier's check for a little over the amount. I was told by Paul Berry that I would receive a credit for what was left over after the taxes and fees which was check for a little over the amount. I had to call about 8 times after the sale to find out what the hold up was. Finally, I got in contact with the manager who told me that they would send out the refund right away. I received a check in the mail for $17.50! I was pissed! I called and left a message for Paul Berry and of course I still have no answers for what happened. I am giving them another week before I either go down there and get it, or contact my lawyer to get it for me. They never have a problem taking your money, but you will always have a problem getting what's owed to you. NEVER PURCHASE A USED CAR FROM BAY RIDGE HONDA! More
I had what others may call a unique experience at Bay Ridge Honda. While my daughter and I were looking at the cars in the showroom, a very nice gentleman came up to us and introduced himself as Eddie I Ridge Honda. While my daughter and I were looking at the cars in the showroom, a very nice gentleman came up to us and introduced himself as Eddie Itskovich and said to let him know if we need assistance. There was no high pressure, salesmen weren't following us around and we felt comfortable. I decided on a 4 dr. Accord. I spoke with Mr. Itskovich who explained the workings of the car. I met with Mr. Berntsen, the Sales Manager of Bay Ridge Honda who was very knowledgeable regarding financing options. Both men did not high pressure me nor did they attempt to pressure me. I then met with Mr. Gambino who prepared my paperwork and got me a great deal on my new Accord. Mr. Gambino then called Mr. Galante, Director of Service and Parts, and my daughter and I found ourselves following him into the Service Department. Needless to say I was so impressed. Mr. Galante ran his Department like a well oiled machine and highly respected by all the men. I knew I made one of the best decisions ever when deciding to purchase my Accord at Bay Ridge Honda. Make the right decision like I did, go to Bay Ridge Honda and you too will find yourself in a unique and reassuring car dealership.
