This was our first new car buying expereience in 8 years and the experience may make us want to buy a new car more often. Buying end of model year from dealer stock can limit options but Roman Alpin, the salesperson, heard us out and came up with a model with amenities and a price that was right. He was straight forward about the cost of models that the dealership had little wiggle room and we wound up getting an Accord at a good price. On the early evening of the day of paperwork and pickup both the salesperson and the business manager stayed after the showroom closed to finish the transaction without any hint of rushing the process. Having decided to take the "cash back" instead of the low advertised financing rate, Dwayne, the business manager, was still able to get us a loan rate lower than that was posted. Several days later I returned to the dealership to purchase additional keys and to have Lo-jack installed. For whatever reason, I was kept waiting an hour. However, once the assistant manager overheard my complaint, he personnally took my car to the Service Dept. and had the work started on the installation. The Service Dept. assistants were courteous and efficient. Their waiting room is very pleasant with three workstations, free WiFi, good seats, newspapers and coffee. Bay Ridge Honda is a place to go and Roman Alpin is a person to see. More
