I had what others may call a unique experience at Bay Ridge Honda. While my daughter and I were looking at the cars in the showroom, a very nice gentleman came up to us and introduced himself as Eddie I Ridge Honda. There was no high pressure, salesmen weren't following us around and we felt comfortable. I decided on a 4 dr. Accord. I spoke with Mr. Itskovich who explained the workings of the car. I met with Mr. Berntsen, the Sales Manager of Bay Ridge Honda who was very knowledgeable regarding financing options. Both men did not high pressure me nor did they attempt to pressure me. I then met with Mr. Gambino who prepared my paperwork and got me a great deal on my new Accord. Mr. Gambino then called Mr. Galante, Director of Service and Parts, and my daughter and I found ourselves following him into the Service Department. Needless to say I was so impressed. Mr. Galante ran his Department like a well oiled machine and highly respected by all the men. I knew I made one of the best decisions ever when deciding to purchase my Accord at Bay Ridge Honda. This was our first new car buying expereience in 8 years and the experience may make us want to buy a new car more often. Buying end of model year from dealer stock can limit options but Roman Alpin, the salesperson, heard us out and came up with a model with amenities and a price that was right. He was straight forward about the cost of models that the dealership had little wiggle room and we wound up getting an Accord at a good price. On the early evening of the day of paperwork and pickup both the salesperson and the business manager stayed after the showroom closed to finish the transaction without any hint of rushing the process. Having decided to take the "cash back" instead of the low advertised financing rate, Dwayne, the business manager, was still able to get us a loan rate lower than that was posted. Several days later I returned to the dealership to purchase additional keys and to have Lo-jack installed. For whatever reason, I was kept waiting an hour. However, once the assistant manager overheard my complaint, he personnally took my car to the Service Dept. and had the work started on the installation. The Service Dept. assistants were courteous and efficient. Their waiting room is very pleasant with three workstations, free WiFi, good seats, newspapers and coffee. Bay Ridge Honda is a place to go and Roman Alpin is a person to see. More

I consider myself an experienced consumer. This was my 34th car purchase and I was prepared for anything and everything! I expected to be told I didn't qualify for "the special rate of 3.49%" as so many D 34th car purchase and I was prepared for anything and everything!
