This dealership is terrible. I can't even describe how bad they are. They are thieves that trick you into getting service and parts that you didn't even ask for. In addition, they refused to help correct the problem. Worst dealer in NY. I suggest to go to another dealer who appreciate your service and don;t try to make you go broke. Furthermore, you can never reach the salesperson when you have a question or problem. And they make you wait hours before serving you. Before they sign the contract, the sales representative told us that the Lojack syste BADLY! My parents bought a 2009 Honda Civic from this place. Before they sign the contract, the sales representative told us that the Lojack system only cost around $700. But when they showed us the final contract, the Lojack system cost around $3000. They told us that they added this other Lojack plan to our contract when we never requested it. Also, we had to pay an extra $4k for the car. My parents tried arguing with them but they told us that we can't do anything since we sign the contract already. ARE THEY EVEN ALLOWED TO CHANGE THE CONTRACT? THE FINAL PRICE OF THE LOJACK SYSTEM AND THE CAR ITSELF WAS MORE EXPENSIVE THAN WHAT WE AGREED ON IN THE FIRST PLACE. READ THE CONTRACT CAREFULLY BEFORE YOU SIGN IT. ALSO, IT'S BEST IF YOU UNDERSTAND ENGLISH. MY PARENTS DOESN'T SPEAK ENGLISH SO THE SALES REPRESENTATIVE EXPLAINED THE CONTRACT TERMS TO THEM IN ANOTHER LANGUAGE. They are so tricky. I requested to add a LoJack system for $995. However, there are many hidden service plans which didn't show the price when I signed the service plan contract. After my car was installed the LoJack, they would show you the final voice and contract. It was $5000 more in final price. When I tried to argue to take out LoJack and service plan, they would say it can't take out since it is already installed into the car. How can I sue them and get my money back? Anyone know? GET YOUR FINAL INVOICE BEFORE YOU INSTALL SOMETHING INTO YOUR CAR. READ EVERY SINGLE WORD OF CONTRACT BEFORE YOU SIGN. More
I bought my 2008 Honda Civic EX at Bay Ridge Honda and had a wonderful experience. I year later I returned to trade up to a 2010 Pilot EXL. Initially I had no problem with the sales rep. After a deposit we were told that they didn't have black in stock and they would find the model we wanted by Monday or Tuesday. Monday came and went without a courtesy call. Tuesday I wanted to get a status update just to find out if I could go to the beach that day. When I called to speak with ELIZABETH POLANCO i simply asked for a status update on the car. Instead of politely answering my question and letting me know it might be a couple more days, she came back at me with attitude and said "IT'S ONLY MY SECOND DAY CALLING!!!!!". Immediately turned off, I found my own 2010 Honda Pilot EXL in 5 MINUTES and will be driving it tomorrow!!!!! I guess Bay Ridge Honda is doing so well they didn't need my 40k+ purchase. Dear ELIZABETH POLANCO, Don't be mad that I had to do your job for you, and learn some customer service skills. All it would have taken was a polite apology for your disgusting attitude!!!
