Bayside Ford

Needed to purchase a truck, as most people i was looking for a deal, the salespeople here are very nice, i stated i only wanted to spend around 15k on a truck as its primary use was to haul garbage back and for a deal, the salespeople here are very nice, i stated i only wanted to spend around 15k on a truck as its primary use was to haul garbage back and forth to the dump, the salesman when on and on about how it was my lucky day and they had a truck for me for around 15,427 or close, all sounded perfect, when signing the contract i was told the total price was 17950.00 which sounded reasonable and i signed the contract, this was of course a mistake on my part to not read all of the prices on it, i simply assumed, wrongly, that it was all on the up and up, so i accept my part and am not complaining about that, i am complaining because after a 1,000 deposit my loan for the car is still over 19k, this was not what i expected and ends with me paying over 20k for a 2011 ford truck, just dont seem right, when i called to speak about how the final bill was much more than i expected i was fed a line about gap insurance being required by my bank loan, which it is not, not to mention speaking of the price being 15k when it was really 17k, honestly i feel as if the wool was pulled over my eyes on this deal and they promised to contact me to speak about this further but 4 days later and no contact, i am going to assume this is simply how they do business and steer clear in the future. More

Not Devan's fault, its the one manager guy who has wayyy to many positive reviews that I am going to go out on a limb here and bet many are fake from friends and family. I just don't believe a guy that told me literally how much my car sucked, and how it wasn't worth what was agreed upon, was quote funny. More

I had a problem with my company truck right before my wife and I were supposed to leave for GA.. Not wanting to come home to a broke down truck I called Afton at Bayside service department and she took i wife and I were supposed to leave for GA.. Not wanting to come home to a broke down truck I called Afton at Bayside service department and she took it right in and they worked on it while we were gone. There was some major issues with the engine and as usual they informed me of all the issues and after I gave the go-ahead they fixed it and I got to tell you it now runs better than when it was new. Again I'm so impressed with Afton and I believe Robert was the mechanic. The two of them continue to amaze me. We live Bayside service department! More
