I had recommended Beach Blvd to my fiance because about ten years ago they were nice and professional and I was in and out like that. NOT MUCH ANYMORE!!! This place is ran down, the offices are old, nobody speaks to you when they see you looking for cars. They actually look at you like "why are you here." They curse at their own employees in front of you and while casually discussing the cars. My fiance saw the car he wanted and it looked nothing like online. Pieces were missing and the sales guy claimed they were stolen a week ago. Even then my fiance wanted to proceed. We went into this old office where the chairs were all torn up, the office smelled old and dirty. They guy pulls out a credit app and I'm telling my fiance to test drive this car first. He walks outside to get some papers and I ask "CHARLES" the sales guy "WHY DO HE NEED TO FILL OUT A CREDIT APP WITHOUT FIRST DRIVING THE CAR". He says to me "Baby we got to see if he qualified to drive it first." I walk outside to tell him what Charles said and that we should go now quickly. My fiance didn't mind filling it out, he still wants the car. He fills out, we get ready to test drive it and Charles starts cursing at other employees in the car while he drives fast to the back to put gas in it. Mind you this is a Chrysler 300, very long and wide car and he is driving through the parking lot to the back like a maniac!! He fells to tell us anything about the car like THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT IS ON!!! Which my fiance saw once he let him test drive. We get back in the office. We told Charles from previous phone calls before we even got there we only have $1000. Charles is talking to the finance guy all loud about the money the finance guy wants so that we can hear him which is a tactic, a funny one but we knew they was about to try to shake us down. He comes back and says he wants $2500 now down before the loan starts... The finance guy turns down our money and tells CHARLES to try for more money!! Suffice it to say, we left and went to another dealership the next day and they took our $1000, gave us a nicer vehicle, with no blemishes, new tires on all four wheels( not just two new ones and two completely bald ones in the front like on the 300), tint on the windows already, and no ants or trash in the car!!!!!! God is always on time! I'm just thankful my fiance listens to me. He thanked me so much after that. The experience almost had him thinking every sales guy was deceptive and greedy, but I knocked that thought right out his head with words of wisdom!! Charles or the accountant even had the nerve to call him the next day and say they would take the grand and we could write a check for $500 that we DON'T HAVE so basically he telling us to write a worthless check right. Run run run from this dealership. ALL THE CARS ARE BUSTED UP, NONE ARE WORTH IT!!!! RUN FAST AND TRY SOMEPLACE ELSE, ANY PLACE IS BETTER THAN HERE!! I was so embarrassed for even telling my fiance to go here! They haven't always been like this but boy have they fell from grace!!! More

The only reason why they have one star was because I could not have zero stars. Their interest is sky high for no absolute reason. My car was only 6k and some & I gave them 4k down and when I went to pay my car they said I owe around 5k just because of interest and fees ! THAT IS COMPLETELY OUTRAGEOUS !!!!!!! NEVER AGAIN !!!!!!!! Also, the car wasn't up to par like they said it was. I had problems only two days after having it. More

I'm a pretty educated person, but not being a lawyer, I didn't catch the change in the paperwork and it cost me. You would be better off buying your car elsewhere or bring an attorney to review your paperwork if buying from these guys. They cannot be trusted. They are the perfect embodiment of the sleazy used car dealer caricature. On top of that, the finance manager actually hung up on me as I was trying to discuss this matter with him. This is the last place you want to shop at. More

Deceptive business practices DECEPTIVE BUSINESS PRACTICES, STAY AWAY! On 8.15.15, I called Beach Blvd automotive to let them know that my Brother had been arrested and his truck DECEPTIVE BUSINESS PRACTICES, STAY AWAY! On 8.15.15, I called Beach Blvd automotive to let them know that my Brother had been arrested and his truck that he had purchased there a mpnth and a half or so before was needing to be moved. I asked if I could show them ID and get an extra key so that I could get it home and safe from being towed. I let them know that I'd be making the payment until he was released so that he wouldn't lose the truck that he worked so hard for. They seemed very sympathetic and after several phone calls said they would be happy to tow it to their shop and I could call Mr. John King on Monday 8.17 to make arrangements to pick it up. They explained that he was aware of the situation and "wanted to help." So, I called several times on Monday, tuesday, Wednesday but could never get him to return my calls. I finally got him on the phone and he was all but nice and accomodating. He tells me i cant pick up the truck because im not on the loan. Then he tells me that I could "buy" my brothers truck by putting down $3700 and giving them credit information. So, he is willing to illegally sell my Brothers property to me as long as I had enough cash? Btw, the payment at that time was paid up for the entire month so there was no reason to hold the vehicle. Fast forward to yesterday, 9 4 15. I go to the jail and my Brother signs, and has notorized, a durable power of attorney that allows me to act as his attorney in fact and pick up his property. I had just made his payment on 9.1.15 to make sure there wouldn't be any issues. My Mother and I go to beach Blvd automotive to pick up the vehicle and he wouldn't agree to give it to us. I had the power of attorney, my identification, and proof of insurance. After a few short minutes of speaking with Mr. King, he calls the police on us and claims we are disturbing the peace and his customers. (We were in his closed office the entire time.) They came and were clearly on our side, but couldn't make Mr. King return the property. I'll be plastering their deceptive business practices all over the city of jacksonville until I have the truck in my possessesion. More

Better than expected I read most of the reviews of this dealership which had a car I was looking for. When I realized the car I narrowed my search to was not only in Flori I read most of the reviews of this dealership which had a car I was looking for. When I realized the car I narrowed my search to was not only in Florida (I'm in TN) but was at a dealership with such bad reviews I was nervous to pursue it. I ended up deciding to go for it anyway and although they couldn't negotiate on the price (I financed with one of their lenders*), it was already a fair price anyway. If I had cash I'm sure they would have come down a bit. They were able to pre-approve me fairly quickly and my salesman Kile was courteous and professional, he very clearly stated what was needed from me and provided all information in all formats requested by me. After 8 hours of driving to pick up the car I wouldn't say I was greeted with enthusiasm but they did wash the car and had all documents prepared and ready for me when I arrived. I was in and out in an acceptable amount of time and kudos to Kile for taking the time to ride with me to drop my rental car off at the airport 30 minutes away! It appears that if you do your research and are vigilant on your end then they will meet you halfway without issue. They may be rough around the edges but it appears they are trying to shake their old reputation and genuinely become a better dealership with the new people they are bringing on board. You also have to understand they are in transition from a "buy here pay here" lot to something more legitimate and these things take time. I went in with low expectations and stuck my neck out but so far everything has turned out much better than expected. Do your research, be prepared and ask for Kile and I think you will be fine. More
