About as Transparent as a Glass of Mud My wife and I wanted a hard to find 4Runner and were told we could order one from the factory EXACTLY as we want it. We sat with David Stephens and o My wife and I wanted a hard to find 4Runner and were told we could order one from the factory EXACTLY as we want it. We sat with David Stephens and ordered a TRD Offroad Premium and put $1000 deposit down. We were told it would arrive in a couple months, awesome! I signed a sales agreement that stated the model we ordered and the factory options it would come with. Fast Forward 8 weeks...I got a call the vehicle was on the lot. So I sold my wife's SUV on craigslist and came to the dealership to buy our new, custom-ordered, straight from the factory 4Runner! However, right off the bat we noticed the vehicle had about $500 in options added...such as all weather mats, cargo mat, and tonneau cover. Well shoot, what's the deal? I brought in a specific amount of cash to purchase the vehicle at the agreed upon price. When we sat down with David we noticed the price had increased over $3,000 from the signed sales agreement. This 4Runner had KDSS suspension and options that increased the price significantly. I was thinking, what in the world? David Stephens had John Cantwell come over to "smooth things out" but no such thing happened. Instead, John said "Most people prefer these options." Well, I specifically ordered this Premium edition without all this extra stuff. The dealership wouldn't budge and said that it is what it is. I asked John Cantwell if they can make it right by reducing the price to our agreed sales contract. He literally smirked and said "We don't do that here." If I didn't want to buy this vehicle for over $3,000 more than we agreed upon, then they would refund my deposit and keep it. Remind you, I just sold my wife's car the day before and they just bait & switched us into paying more for the vehicle we custom ordered from the Toyota Factory in Japan. I have never felt so taken advantage of in my life. I've purchased many cars if my life and have never encountered such dishonesty and sliminess as I did with John Cantwell and David Stephens. Beaverton Toyota made it clear that they are suitably fine with me leaving unhappy because, as John Cantwell says, "We don't do that here". I will continue to steer people away from Beaverton Toyota. Friends, family, clients, and all people I work and do business with....this dealership has zero integrity. Go to Wilsonville Toyota as they are much friendlier and more considerate. More

Great experience with sales and service! I came in for service on my yaris, and Ed in the service department was extraordinarily helpful.
