I was approached by Joel Iwanaga with a very warming services. He was able to understand my wants and need. Didn't pressure me into buying something I can't afford. He was very polite and professional. Showed my girlfriend and I options for cars and would give us time to talk it over. Not once did he try to push me toward another car. Even though it was night and pretty cold outside he would be running around outside looking for the right car and letting us sit inside the car to keep warm. Helped us every step of the way. Just a great overall person. More
Friendly Sales Staff, Lacking Communication and Service The dealership knows my name at this point since I have called them every week multiple times since I purchased my vehicle for one issue or another ov The dealership knows my name at this point since I have called them every week multiple times since I purchased my vehicle for one issue or another over the last 4 weeks. The process was going very well up front with my sales person Kristin T. and getting me into a used 2014 Prius for my long work commute. I had to finance 5k of the vehicle which I knew I would have trouble getting but Toyota Financial Services backed me and I was grateful for. The sales process was great from start to signing the documents and driving away, minus a few glitches with their tablet signing system. The main issues started 1 week after I had my car and realized it had damage to the bumper and turned out it was sold to me that way. I had to take a day off of work to meet with the management team to prove the damage was missed by their service department during the certified inspection, which was proven to be the case. The management was then completely awesome and said they would cover the damage being fixed at no cost to me and that we just needed to get it setup for service. A few days after dropping it off for service, I was picking up my car but found that not all of the damage had been repaired and the bumper was not re-hung properly to the point there was now a gap exposing the bumper hanging brackets or clips. I addressed these issues with a member of the service management team who then proceeded to tell me that the repair was done successfully and that in order to get all of the damage repaired and looking properly they would need to replace the entire bumper. He also took it upon himself to remind me I purchased a "used" vehicle and to expect some issues like the gaps in the hanging bumper. He did say that if I was not satisfied that I would need to get any additional repairs approved through my sales person and that they would be happy to continue to service the vehicle based on what gets approved. I immediately reported the issues I had with the service and the comments from the Service Drive Manager to the person who got the service approved. Long story short and a few missed callbacks later, I am having to setup another repair service date to rehang the bumper properly. I was waiting for everything to get completed before writing this review but I am not sure when that will be so I figured I had better get it out of the way. I have nothing but respect for George Lyons and Kristin Tremain for working with me on these issues and getting me into my new car. George is awesome and although he is extremely busy he makes sure to make me, the customer, feel important and prioritized. Communication seems to be lacking throughout and callbacks can sometimes take a few days if voicemails are left but they are a business and seem to be very busy. I was impatient at times and called back to check the status of things when I hadn't heard from them in a while. I have had extremely bad experiences in the past with dealerships and I was afraid going into this one was going to end up the same way however George is making the process much more bearable and I know he is doing all he can to make it right for me, the customer. The dealership is clean and the staff I have dealt with so far have been mostly helpful and caring. The battle ahead for me lies mainly with the service department and resolving those issues properly. Best Regards, Daniel Hunter More
Exasperating disappointment In the 6 weeks since I bought my certified used 2016 rav4 -the car hasn't started 3 times and it has been in for "evaluation" 2x for a total of 30 hrs In the 6 weeks since I bought my certified used 2016 rav4 -the car hasn't started 3 times and it has been in for "evaluation" 2x for a total of 30 hrs. I've been late for work, had the car jumped by neighbors and missed work twice to bring the car to Beaverton Toyota. The service manager has zero empathy for the profound inconvenience. He actually said "I'm not responsible for your emotions, it is my job to fix your car." Their solution was to replace the battery with a used battery from a rental car. Very disappointed with my new car. I never know if it will start. More

Rob is my service rep, and he is always helpful I came in for regular service, made the appointment online with "Orange team" -- but found out that my appointment had been the previous day. That was I came in for regular service, made the appointment online with "Orange team" -- but found out that my appointment had been the previous day. That was my mistake -- drat! But they told me to wait a minute, and pretty soon Rob came out and told me they would get me in. He knows my car's history (its a 2008 Prius), is great about telling me what I really do need to take care of, and what can put off if I have cash flow issues. I have come to trust his judgment and advice, and appreciate that immensely. More

Problem still exists as well as somewhat worse. Toyota is no telling me the truth. There is a inherent problem with this model. Would hope Toyota woulld stand behind their product. This is my second Highlander. My first one was excellent in every way. Would like Toyota to fess up and tell me the truth. More
