Coomber makes false promises to make a sale I bought a used 2103 Subaru from Ajay. When we test drove it, the windshield wiper light was on and Ajay assured me it was immaterial and it'd be fixe I bought a used 2103 Subaru from Ajay. When we test drove it, the windshield wiper light was on and Ajay assured me it was immaterial and it'd be fixed. I took the car home the next day and the light was still on but I scheduled an appointment with their service team to check it out. No big deal, I thought. I was eventually sent to Carr Subaru because Beaverton Toyota couldn't fix it for whatever reason. Ajay assured me they would reimburse me for getting it fixed at Carr Subaru. Turns out, the car had been in an accident (not totaled, but also not on the Carfax) and a hole was punctured in the windshield wiper reservoir so no matter how many times you filled it with liquid it literally leaked out the bottom. I called and emailed Ajay numerous times about what happened, seeking recourse. Of course, it only took him about 3 weeks to actually get back to me to discuss. His response was that they could not do anything because they, too, did not know about the accident and were not liable. I call BS because there literally a hole in the reservoir and they never took care of the light. Of course this all happened after I was constantly reminded to write him a good review on here. More

No transparency I have taken my car here for years of routine maintenance, faithfully paying more than I would elsewhere in the hopes that we were building a knowledg I have taken my car here for years of routine maintenance, faithfully paying more than I would elsewhere in the hopes that we were building a knowledgeable relationship regarding my car. The minute a non-routine issue came up, all I ran into was unhelpful protocol. There is a non-negotiable $110 fee for this dealership to even take a peek at your car. Even after having it diagnosed elsewhere, they refused to take into consideration the advice I was given and insisted on the fee as a minimum charge, claiming that most likely there would be more wrong than the other repair shop had told me. How can I trust them to be honest with me about what may or may not be wrong with my car if they can't work with me on what I already figured out? I am severely disappointed in the service I have received the last several times I have taken both of my cars here. I feel like it always comes down to how much money they can possibly squeeze out of me rather than building a trusting, transparent relationship. I felt trapped and held hostage today and am sadly ending my relationship with Beaverton Toyota. More
