No transparency I have taken my car here for years of routine maintenance, faithfully paying more than I would elsewhere in the hopes that we were building a knowledg I have taken my car here for years of routine maintenance, faithfully paying more than I would elsewhere in the hopes that we were building a knowledgeable relationship regarding my car. The minute a non-routine issue came up, all I ran into was unhelpful protocol. There is a non-negotiable $110 fee for this dealership to even take a peek at your car. Even after having it diagnosed elsewhere, they refused to take into consideration the advice I was given and insisted on the fee as a minimum charge, claiming that most likely there would be more wrong than the other repair shop had told me. How can I trust them to be honest with me about what may or may not be wrong with my car if they can't work with me on what I already figured out? I am severely disappointed in the service I have received the last several times I have taken both of my cars here. I feel like it always comes down to how much money they can possibly squeeze out of me rather than building a trusting, transparent relationship. I felt trapped and held hostage today and am sadly ending my relationship with Beaverton Toyota. More
