My tech, Rob, quickly had the problem diagnosed, had a written estimate, and offered a quick repair time once the part was received. I made the appointment for two days later. Once back home I found the lock operating fine. I called the dealership and cancelled the appointment. On the day of my scheduled appointment, the locking mechanism again stopped working. Obviously an intermittent problem. The following day, Friday, I called BT Service, explained the situation over the phone, and requested another appointment. I was told the soonest appointment would be Monday. That was fine, as I did not expect a same day appointment - especially on a Friday! Less than an hour later I received a call from Rob, my tech. He said he overheard the call I made. He told me he could get me in that day. I explained I could not come in immediately and he assured me if I had the car there within 3 hours it would be fine. I took advantage of the new appointment. The repairs were completed sooner than estimated. Rob's extra attention to my problem assured me that my car would lock up okay so I could use and park it securely over the weekend. This is the fine customer service I have come to expect and appreciate at Beaverton Toyota - from the day I bought my Camry, to all of the maintenance service I've Had done, to this recent experience. In my forty years of owning vehicles (half of which Toyotas) this dealership has been consistently fantastic. This is why I trust them with all of my service/repair needs.
