I may just have found the last honest dealer I took my vehicle in today due to an issue with a noise coming from under the car. A phantom noise would best describe it. I absolutely refuse to go to dealerships in Los Angeles where I purchased my vehicle...heck my whole Toyota experience has been xxxx. I personally believe I bought the one lemon as everyone I know raves about them and this is my first. Anyway, I was so fed up with dealer service departments that I once my warranty was done I was adios. Fast forward to phantom noise 2015. Before I left Los Angeles, my mechanic thought it was a wheel bearing issue but wanted to be sure and have me drive it a bit more. I did, but got nervous and it was suggested I go elsewhere including a "reputable" transmission shop...lol...yup "we're gonna have to open here up and see" lol. I passed and drove home to visit my mother. Phantom sound kept doing its thing and seeing that I was going to have to go back to Los Angeles next week I started making calls. The place I wanted to go was booked for two weeks solid so I rolled the dice. Beaverton Toyota, man am I in trouble...wrong. These guys were the absolute GREATEST. Curteous, efficient, and professional--they did not try to sell me they dealt with the issue at hand. I am blown away. Dennis Wolfe was my Asst Srvc Mgr and he got me the absolute best mechanic in Geoff. Phantom noise is dead, yes it was a wheel bearing, and I left with my shirt. Moving forward whenever I am in Portland I will be going to Beaverton Toyota. 10 out of 10, 5 star, and A+++. More
