Kevin Haines met me outside with a smile and reassurance that they would do everything possible to get me a newer car. He spent time with me making sure that I was able to get the car I wanted and it didn't matter how much time that took as long as I was happy. Finally decided on a 2015(doesn't get much newer than that!) Prius C 2 and he made sure I understood, in plain English, the difference between leasing and buying. Eventually went with the lease and he made the wheels turning and got me approved! That day I was driving out with the car of my dreams. Bad customer relations I wanted a car with navigation as I'm new to the area. I found ongoing problems with nav system in car I bought last Nov. Brought this to their atten I wanted a car with navigation as I'm new to the area. I found ongoing problems with nav system in car I bought last Nov. Brought this to their attention numerous times. Their mechanic duplicated my concerns in writing but I was offered nothing but an update because they didn't know how to solve the issues. Next update: October (how helpful). Beaverton Toyota printed 18 pages of problems with the nav system. Eventually, I had to ask (no one offered) to speak to the customer relations mgr (Cathy). She told me she would call Toyota and get back to me. 3 MONTHS later (same issues), no call. I called the owner (who needed to know my frustration and that his people don't do their job). Cathy couldn't come up with an excuse. Eventually, they got tired of me and put in a new system. Trouble is, the 18 pages of complaints shows their system in garbage even though their service mgr (Steve) said they couldn't duplicate the problems I stated despite 18 pages of written complaints and YouTube videos demonstrating these very issues. So, the problems remain. My phone nav app works so much better. Principle: Toyota charged me for a system they knew was poor. No more Toyota for me. No more Beaverton Toyota who could have handled this so much better. More
