Beck & Masten Buick GMC North

Beck Masten Buick offered 15k initially for my brand new car, less than a month old, which I paid 25k for. Subsequently, that offer was increased to 16.5 as the day progressed. I was told that the finance c car, less than a month old, which I paid 25k for. Subsequently, that offer was increased to 16.5 as the day progressed. I was told that the finance company did not want to increase my payment on my existing car so the dealer recommended I choose from demo's or a line of Lacrosse autos' that didn't possess the amenities I would rather have for the price I would be paying for the car. At the end of the day there was no agreement made. I also learned that an additional 6600 dollars was being tacked on to the finance price as the numbers were being run through financing. I don't know where that number came from but it's crazy! Anyway, I sense that the cost of the Lacrosse plus the 6600 being tacked on was too much for the finance company to accept. Makes sense because if the deal was right then the finance company would have ACCEPTED it. Ok, so I say forget the Lacrosse even though that's the car I want. Two days later I go back to Lone Star Chevy and they buy back my car that gives me 2k net return cash. I end up with a 2012 Malibu LTZ-2 fully loaded out with a 7.9% rate (with the SAME FINANCE COMPANY I used to buy the new car I traded in and to get the Lacrosse with) which is better than the 9% I would have gotten, at best, from Beck Masten. All this from Lone Star in a matter of a couple hours. No money down, no payment restrictions (which I learned wasn't a problem with the finance company anyway... not sure where Beck Masten got all that from). Anyway, I am satisfied with the Malibu but would rather have the Lacrosse as initially planned. I am still looking but won't go back to Beck Masten unless they reach out and make a great offer (won't hold my breath). So I'll be just continue looking at other Buick dealerships till I get what I want. More
