Frustrated and less than honest Erik Ochs was my service consultant on both trips. The first trip 8/14/17. I had a vibration while driving 70 after 5 days, I got it back and there wa Erik Ochs was my service consultant on both trips. The first trip 8/14/17. I had a vibration while driving 70 after 5 days, I got it back and there was STILL a vibration while driving 70. When i went to pick it up, the air pressure sensor had not been reset. When it was reset, the tires were as follow 25LF, 55 RF, 32 LR and 59RR. We corrected this before I left but after 5 days you would think everything should be correct. I took it back in on 10/13/17. I told Erik that not only did it still have a vibration, but the transmission was popping/clanking sometimes while slowing down. After 5 days, the vibration is ALMOST fixed, all they did was balance it, and the transmission is still popping. When I call on the following Thursday to find out what is going on, I was told that it would be ready. I asked him what the heck was wrong, and he replied that they had to do a bigtime "road force balance". I said so it took you a week to balance my tires? He was rude and his exact comment was - 'Hey, I got it fixed'. Anyway, that has been my experience with Beck and Masten Service. The rental car person was awesome.. The communication lousy, the promptness lousy and the service coordinator lousy...........update 12/5/17 A customer service manager called me to discuss the problems I had at this dealership service department. After a day of investigating, he called back and suggested that I take the vehicle elsewhere. I am glad I did. I took my vehicle to Weisner GMC/Buick in Conroe. Pam took care of my me. The vibration was solved by replacing three tires that were out of GMC specs. Furthermore, I had someone break in my vehicle snapping the lock out of the driver side door. I had asked Eric to replace the lock. He told me that it could not be done and a new door skin was required since since the area around the lock had been used to pry out the lock and was slightly dented. He quoted me $2,200 to fix this. Pam at Weisner fixed the whole thing for $475 - no new door skin and paint job needed. The Beck and Masten service department and especially Eric Ochs are a bunch of incompetent shysters - stay away from them! I would highly recommend taking your vehicle to Weisner GMC/Buick. More

Bait and switch scam Classic Bait and Switch experience! Below is the story of what I experienced at Beck and Masten South. Prior to buying a car I let it be known that I Classic Bait and Switch experience! Below is the story of what I experienced at Beck and Masten South. Prior to buying a car I let it be known that I recently bought a 2017 GMC Canyon and they really never appreciated my business. Before I ever drove to the dealership, I spoke to the salesman by the name of Gus whose information is not on the website and I was very specific about what I didn't want to experience. If what I didn't want to happen ended up happening, we would leave. I asked questions about a specific VIN on the website, in addition to questions about the incentives. I was assured the incentives discussed applied to the vehicle we were interested in purchasing. My other questions were answered in a roundabout way, which should have been my clue to stay away. What made me go there was when Gus said that "you got the deal you want just come on through we are washing and gassing the truck up for you". The original salesman "GUS" I spoke with on the phone ended up who was available when we went to the dealership somehow he passed me off to Chris Dominguez. After deciding on the specific VIN, guess what happened? Everything we didn't want to happen! I even spoke to the manager by the name of Chad Garland who assured me that the deal was done. Things were going too smooth. Chris Dominguez didn't even sit for more than 5 minutes he kept getting up and saying the truck is being gassed and washed. When asked about purchase price and incentives, we never received a straight forward answer. It was "I will work with you to get the best deal". The salesman left to begin the first round of negotiations. Afterwards, he (Chris Dominguez) passed me off to finance manager by the name of Orlando Pasasin. Orland took every minute of the meeting to demean and belittle me at every step. NOTHING WAS AS WE AGREED THEY TOOK ADVANTAGE OF MY TIME AND PATIENCE. It was a huge waste of 3.5 hours and a reminder of my extreme dislike of the car buying process. We were going to purchase two vehicles, too. Oh well. They lost out. I look at it as a learning experience: trust my gut and realize the Internet is the new way for the classic bait and switch. I'm not a fan of unethical business practices. I HOPE THIS IS NOT HOW GMC OPERATES ITS BUSINESS. More
