We currently have a 98 Mitsubishi Galant and was looking to get a second car. My parents and I definitely wanted a Mitsubishi SUV. Before visiting the dealership, I had done my research over the internet. This dealership in comparison to the others seemed to have a more personal touch. The owner actually visits the place 5 to 6 days a week. The engines of the cars they sell come with a lifetime warranty. The descriptions of their cars posted on the internet were very detailed. Descriptions from other dealerships were "You will love this car!" "This car is the perfect summer ride" Then their descriptions were very basic; just the essential information. Bell Mitsubishi gave the information you wanted to hear, and even beyond that. I purposely didn't make an appointment to come in, so they wouldn't try to have a whole "sales pitch" planned. We bought our first car from a local dealership, and it was the typical experience. He didn't suck, he just wasn't extraordinary. We visit Bell Mitsubishi right after I got out of work. Working in retail for the past 10 years, I knew all of the typical "tricks, consumer traps, etc." At the same time, I also know the value of the car itself, as well as its added features. My father, working for a bus company, is very good at inspecting for any cosmetic defects. He is also very knowledgable of the internal parts of the car. My mom, I guess is the test of the dealer's patience because of her personality. As we were looking at the Mitsubishi Outlander I saw on NJ.com, Mr. Don Paterno approached us a few minutes later. He was very welcoming and answered any questions we had. There wasn't that extra sleezy dealership talk I was expecting. He ended up showing us a better car than what we were expecting to buy. I was thinking, "There it goes. The upsell." Comparing the 2 cars, the second car really was a value. Even though my mom was practically sold, Mr. Paterno still took the time to make sure we ALL loved the car. He addressed the concerns of my dad and I, as well as was extremely patient with my mom. He was a very funny, light hearted guy. He relieved any tension we had of the car buying experience. It kinda felt like buying a car from your favorite uncle. We went on an actual road test; not just around a couple of blocks. He wasn't just focused on my dad driving the SUV, but talked to me and my mom too. Even though we were all convinced, he still made sure he covered all our concerns. The buying process that followed was as enjoyable as the sales experience. I loved how Mr. Paterno asked my parents how much of a monthly payment they wanted. He asked what we wanted, and he did everything in his power to make it happen. At the business office, we met Neil. Neil made the paperwork part not so boring. It was more than just sign here, sign there. It was again, like visiting your favorite uncle. He talked to us about where we worked, how we found the dealership, etc. He too, was more than willing, and patient with any questions or concerns. By the time the paperwork was done, the car got cleaned and gased up; ready for us to take it. Even though we already had the keys, it was as if he was still trying to sell the car to us. It wasn't like, "Here are your keys. See you later." Mr. Paterno made himself totally available to us if we had any concerns in the future. He even gave us his cell phone number. Honestly, if I could, I would have rated everything a "10". There was not a single thing I could complain about. The dealership seemed so cozy and everyone seemed very nice and welcoming. I kinda wish we bought our first car from them as well. I was shocked to find out that everything I read on the internet about them was exactly the same thing in person. Their policy is kinda like Burger King, "Have it your way." It's all about the customer, not the dealer. More
Great experience from Jeff answering my initial phone call to taking delivery of my vehicle. No nonsense dealership. They did not have the Endeavor color I wanted but Jose did a search and found one. I did a lot of shopping and pricing of this vehicle and Bell Mitsubishi gave the best price by far. Matt called the day after taking delivery to see if everything was ok. Having never purchased a car alone, I entered the dealership dreading the whole car buying process. I was pleasantly surprised when I was greeted by Don (Sales) and then introduced to Albert (Intern dealership dreading the whole car buying process. I was pleasantly surprised when I was greeted by Don (Sales) and then introduced to Albert (Internet Manager who had contacted me before and made the appointment for me to come in). Both gentlemen (and they were exactly that) treated me with respect, did not pressure me, made me feel very comfortable and were very informative. Needless to say, after test driving the Spider Eclipse I came in to see I purchased it that night. When picking up the car I noticed that there was no radio display. Don and Jim had the radio changed out by the service department right then and there and I left with all systems go. From the time I walked into the showroom until I signed the final papers with Neil, I felt everyone there at Bell were going out of their way to provide the best possible "car buying" experience. I live in PA and found them online and they went abo Mitsubishi, they were very forward with everything I needed to know about purchasing my vehicle. They didn't give me the usual xxxxxxxx and gimmicks like from bigger dealerships located on major highways. The price was also very good out of all the places I looked. More
I had been looking for a dealership that had a ralliart that was in my price range and trade in my white gts lancer. Ryan was an amazing help getting me the price I wanted as well as all the help. If you are looking for a sales person who understands your needs, listens and supports what you want a 100% def ask for him Ryan in sales. He was able to trade in my gts lancer and pay all of it off to get me a 2009 ralliart. This dealership is about 2 hours away from my house and I totally recommend this dealership and Ryan to anyone who is looking to buy a new car! More
I live down in VA and performed an internet search for a Mitsubishi EVO X in white which is a popular color and therefore a little harder to find in my experience. Bell Mitsubishi came up in the search but was far from being the closest. After calling the dealers that were closer and found that they did not update their internet listings, I gave Bell a call. I spoke with their internet salesman, Albert Chak. He had the car that I wanted in his showroom. He quoted me a price that was lower than invoice. I told him that I "was interested" which soon turned to "I will buy that car". He offered to pick me up from either the airport or train station if I chose to take either of those. I also asked for photos of the car, which was in the showroom. He sent me many detailed photos from all different types of angles. Albert was good in getting forms faxed to me and confirmed he had everything needed to conclude the sale. A couple of evenings before I was to head up to purchase the vehicle I spoke to Albert to let him know how I would be coming up. During the conversation we talked about how many EVOs his dealership orders and he mentioned he just received a truck with more of them the night before. I sheepishly asked if a white EVO in the same trim was on that truck. He said "let me check and I'll call you back!" Sure enough, there was and I asked if he could sell me that one since it was pristine off the truck still in it's protective plastic wrap. He replied "Sure!". He added that it had wheel locks as an option, something I'm not a fan of since I remove the wheels often. I asked if I could get 4 regular lugs to replace the locking lugs. He came up with 4 standard lugs in addition to the locking lugs. I asked that the car not be washed or prepped since I would do it myself. He honored those wishes too and the car was exactly how I wanted it, untouched off of the truck. The parts dept was also very friendly in selling some parts to me at a very good price. There were no surprises with this car sale. It was a great time and everyone I had a conversation with were friendly and happy to talk. I would buy another car from this dealership in an instant. Coming from abroad, being a young woman and buying my first car I was really worried about dealerships trying to sell me a lemon as I don’t know much in mechanic. From the moment I walked in Bell Mitsubishi, Albert and Mathew took care of me. First of all I have to say that I spent many evenings searching for my car and Bell Mitsubishi is the cleanest dealership I’ve ever seen. Maybe it doesn’t matter for most people but I believe the way the place you work at look like has an impact on how people work, and the quality of the service they will provide to customers. Then they really listened to my needs, didn’t try to push me to buy a car, didn’t ask hundred times when I will get the money to pay for the car I wanted to buy. Most dealerships I went to were really pushy and made me feel uncomfortable. I never felt that way at Bell Mitsubishi. I definitely found out what I was looking for at Bell Mitsubishi: professionalism, friendliness and a real customer service. For all these reasons, plus the fact that I got a limited lifetime warranty on my used car engine plus a 24 hours a day 7 days a week road assistance for free as my tires are filled with nitrogen, this is where I bought my first car. And so far I am really glad about it. More

[**UPDATE: I received a call from the owner of Bell Mitsubishi and the entire matter was very professionally resolved within 10 days when the advertised vehicle became available for me to see after bumper repair was completed. In essence, I did see the SUV and it appeared to be quite a deal, although I did not purchase it. ] I called on a Saturday morning at 9:26 a.m. and I spoke to Ryan about an SUV Just Listed on the Internet on Thursday or Friday for sale. Ryan informed me that the car was right outside and still available, so I inquired about their exact location and directions. I had to make a stop before going and I called again at 10:25 a.m. because I was not familiar with the area. I arrived at the dealership at 11:45 a.m. and immediately met with Ryan who took my information and went to get the keys. A minute later he came back apologizing that the SUV had been taken to the shop for detailing and would not be back until Tuesday or Wednesday. However, he claimed he could show me the inside of a more recent model of the same SUV. I already was quite annoyed because Ryan could have alerted me at any time not to come, before I wasted my $3/gallon gas to see a vehicle that was not there! Nonetheless, I walked outside and looked inside of the newer SUV at twice the price of the one I had gone to see, and Ryan promised he would contact me as soon as the SUV I wanted to see was returned to the dealership. Needless to say, I did not hear from Ryan by Wednesday and the SUV I wanted is no longer advertised, probably because it never existed, although a newer more expensive model was there!! BEWARE OF A TRUE BAIT AND SWITCH SCAM or, better yet, stay away! More
