We would like to clarify that Bell Road Mitsubishi would never intentionally turn away a legitimate manufacturer defect. In fact, if warranty approval decisions were made solely at the dealership level, we would gladly approve every customer's warranty repair. Unfortunately, warranty coverage determinations are made by the manufacturer based on their policies, procedures, and diagnostic requirements, not by the dealership. Because of this, we believe there may have been a misunderstanding or perhaps something was lost in communication regarding the reason for the repair decision. We certainly would never refuse to assist a customer simply because a concern involves a potential defect. We value every customer and would welcome the opportunity to review your situation further, explain the manufacturer's findings, and ensure you have a complete understanding of the outcome.
