They sold me a vehicle with a ton of issues. When I went back after three days of owning the car to address the issues, I was told there was nothing they could do. Do not trust Bell Road Mitsubishi. They will keep your car for months and then unlawfully hold it hostage to extort money out of you. Our vehicle was left at this dealership for FIVE MONTHS just to complete a factory warranty repair on our EV battery. Because this was a manufacturer warranty fix, our final consumer balance for the work was exactly $0.00. When my husband finally went to retrieve our car today, the service and management staff explicitly refused to give us our keys or release our personal property. They are attempting to pull a fast one by fabricating a fake "garage keeper's fee," using our personal vehicle as leverage over a completely separate, unrelated insurance claim regarding a previous loaner vehicle. The General Manager, Scott Stapley, completely refused to look my husband in the eye, step out of his back office, or explain this illegal behavior face-to-face. We had to dispatch local law enforcement to the dealership lot today just to document the incident and prevent a breach of peace. Under Arizona law (ARS § 33-1022), a shop cannot file a mechanic's or garage keeper's lien unless there is an unpaid balance on that specific vehicle. Our car has a zero balance. What they are doing is civil theft and illegal conversion of property. An official consumer fraud complaint has been filed with the Arizona Attorney General's Office, and a licensing complaint is being sent to ADOT Enforcement. If you value your property and your sanity, stay far away from Bell Road Mitsubishi. They rely on bullying and hiding in the back to take advantage of consumers. More

These symptoms are not normal, and I’ve repeatedly asked for proper diagnosis. Scottsdale Mitsubishi wont help me either, I came here last week asking for help and some calcification about Scottsdale Mitsubishi and The service manager offered me to do my wheel bearings for me and he said he would charge me half of labor and his price for the parts. I came in this morning and a whole different attitude towards me and dismissed me and my issues just like Scottsdale Mitsubishi. I ask if they could go on a test drive so I can show them what my car does and they refused. The service manager (not gonna mention names) told me to call Corporate and ask for an engineer to come inspect my vehicle; if I really felt like something was wrong but that they would not allow me to pay to have them do it because that is what I got told last week when I agreed to pay them to do the work as the price he said to me. Maybe they should drive their niece or nephew or their kids with car seats in my car and drive around and see if they still think its okay for kids to be shaking and getting sick is okay if its someone in their family going through this. Instead of helping me get to the bottom of the problem, Bell Road Mitsubishi has become uncooperative. Communication has dropped off, and I’ve been left without answers or support. After multiple visits and repeated attempts to get help, I still have the same issues and no clear explanation. I’m frustrated and disappointed. When a customer brings in a vehicle with ongoing mechanical concerns, especially ones that affect comfort and safety, the dealership should take it seriously. After a few days the issues start to pop up and they will not take responsibility nor even try to help you in anyway. They take your money and run. Matt the service manager actually walked away from me mid conversation. He is the most unprofessional employee I have ever met. They sent me to Kia in which i had to pay $359 diagnostic fees just to find out the manufacturer warranty was voided by Bell Road Mitsubishi as they tried hide and cover the work they did. Kia also found out that my car needed alignment and rear brake pads which Bell road Mitsubishi again would not take care of. Beware. This dealership only does a visual inspection on their trade ins. No OBD scan, no checking switches or lights. Just a visual walk around. I was told this by the extremely unhelpful service manager Matt. More
