They said I got approved for the loan for 20k to buy a car. Ended up going to a different dealer and getting a different car and now I’m getting letters in the mail saying that I wasn’t approved for a loa car. I wasn’t aware that they were planning on having me take out a loan that was 25k when the car was priced at 18k. They also put a bunch of warranties on the car and I had no idea they had done that without even telling me what the warranties are until I asked them why my monthly payment was so high. Really happy I decided to go to a different dealership and got a car that is nicer and was priced lower than theirs. They also told me that they were going to up the price of the car if I hadn’t purchased the car that day. Out of curiosity, I looked at the cars.com listing of that car and the price hasn’t changed. I looked at the car on 10/6/21 and it is currently 10/27/21. Just upset that they didn’t tell me that they were going to look up car loans for 25k without telling me because now that I’m not getting approved, which I know I wouldn’t considering the fact that I’m a first time buyer, it really screwed over my credit score. I am so happy with the Bellingham Nissan dealer and their service department especially! Justin, in the service department is a wiz! He takes the time to explain issues to you, the true costs and listens to your concerns. No pressure involved! He then keeps you advised of the progress on your car. Justin is a gem! He should be considered a valued employee by the folks at Bellingham Nissan! If he was given a promotion out of the service department, I would understand! I was also impressed by Nick! I was given an overcharge,and was entitled to a refund and Nick called to explain it thoroughly to me and made the refund over the phone. I especially appreciated the honesty! I recommend Bellingham Nissan to everyone I speak with now! More

I didn't like that the flaws of the vehicle I purchased weren't pointed out to me, i.e.the cigarette burn hole in the back seat and the small dents on the passenger side, but the customer service was great weren't pointed out to me, i.e.the cigarette burn hole in the back seat and the small dents on the passenger side, but the customer service was great and when I brought the car back in to get a few things looked at, they did so no questions asked and threw in a free carwash to boot. I'll be going back to Bellingham Nissan for my next vehicle. More
If I could give this dealership a zero star review I wouldn’t hesitate. The service department is a joke. After $7,000 my car should be in perfect condition but it is now running worse than it did befor wouldn’t hesitate. The service department is a joke.
