Very humiliating experience When i dropped off the car for my airbag recall, my experience with john powell was very professional and straightforward albeit somewhat brief and bl When i dropped off the car for my airbag recall, my experience with john powell was very professional and straightforward albeit somewhat brief and blunt, which at the time i attributed to maybe him having a bad day or he was extremely busy. I had bought my C300 from benzel busch and i am in the market to upgrade to an E class. when I requested that my loaner be an E class so I can experience its driving and see how it is, my service agent, John Powell's response was that he had none, even after i asked him to check with the garage and see if they had any available. Fast forward a few days, I came back to pick up my car and i had noticed a wide crack in my windshield right in the center. When i had tried to talk to my service agent, John Powell, I was confronted with incredulous attitude, hostile behavior and overall ill-tempered and curt responses. He claimed that the crack was already there when i dropped it off and he would not listen to me nor acknowledge any of my concerns, which honestly left me feeling frazzled, defeated and looked down upon. Not until i had asked to speak with a manager (Sossio) and remembering that i had a windshield camera installed did i feel heard and listened to. After i had reviewed the camera footage with the manager, and confirming that there was NO crack when i dropped off my car, did i get any acknowledgement that my windshield was cracked at the dealership. I give kudos to the manager for acknowledging how upset I was, and listening to my concerns and taking the time to review the footage with me. However, this whole experience has left me feeling sour and unfortunately, when i decide to upgrade my car to the E class, i will not be returning to Benzel-Busch. I believe all customers, those with $15K car or a $100K, should be treated with the same respect regardless. I was not. It hurts. More
I am not pleased with the service I have received because I came to pick up my car on Friday. I realized that the lock does not close anymore once I put the car in drive. I called the service department since 7:00A.M.this morning to inform them of the problem up until now I have yet to receive a call back from Tim or the manager. Due to the negligent at time service and road test the front ends of my and headlight and outside mirror was damaged, and I was told they won't accept responsibility for any of them. I am an automotive technician, Due to COVID 19 my shop was closed, I thought I could trust them, but I was wrong. I should have taken my car to Paramus Mercedes Benz. More
