They didn't sell me a car, but it was oh so close! We had a specific car in mind and the salesman (Brady) was exceptionally helpful, as was the business guy (Ryan) who joined us later to see if we could agree on a deal. A tentative agreement was made very quickly, and they were extremely accommodating and didn't hard-sell us at all. We wanted to see an almost identical car (with a lot fewer miles) at another dealership nearby before we said yes, and we told them that. They hoped that we would return to buy from them, but understood and kindly let us go. The second dealer matched Berlin City's price and we bought the car from them. I immediately sent a text to Ryan at Berlin City (I wanted them to know what transpired before they left for the evening), and in just a couple of minutes I got the following text from him: "Can't win em all I guess. No hard feelings. We'll be here if you ever need us. CONGRATS!" I am so very impressed with that! That, my friends, is how to lose a deal and gain a loyal customer. No, we did not buy a car from Berlin City in Portland this time, but next time we need a car, we are going there first! More

Horrific service department !! I had my brand new Toyota sr5 4-runner Scratched twice the very first two service visits I had after my purchase. Purchased a 2015 Toyota Highlander My husband and I went to Berlin City Toyota to check out the Highlander. We had seen one in a parking lot of a local restaurant we recently went to. We went inside so she could get to know us and what we were interested in. We later test drove a Highlander and were very interested in the vehicle. It was probably 2 or 3 months before we purchased a vehicle due to health issues. We scheduled an appointment recently and fell in love with the vehicle in the showroom. It had all the features we were looking for and a few additional. We left the dealership in our new vehicle and are still happy with it today. More

However, I was given much more for my trade, they gave me a very good price on a new tundra and I don't think I spent more than a half hour total dealing with the pricing and paperwork. Overall this was an outstanding car buying experience and I wouldn't hesitate recommending berlin city to anyone! More
