On September 5, 2011, I purchased a new vehicle through Berman Mid-City Nissan at 4444 W. Irving Park Rd, Chicago, IL. After the usually back and forth between myself and salesman Victor, we tried to negot Berman Mid-City Nissan at 4444 W. Irving Park Rd, Chicago, IL. After the usually back and forth between myself and salesman Victor, we tried to negotiate a fair price. Soon afterward, Victor brought in Manager Nick who then brought in another Manager named Dalila. After much more negotiation we settled on an out the door price of $30,000, everything included. Victor continued to consult with the other Managers while returning with multiple different monthly payments. I strongly expressed that the above set price of $30,000 was all I was willing to pay. Victor came back three more times with different monthly payments however assured me that the no matter what monthly payment we settled on, the final amount would still be $30,000. The entire time while punching numbers, Victor was visually showing me that the amount was indeed adding up to $30,000. Finally, Victor and I shook hands and settled on my monthly payment which was again to come out to the agreed price of $30,000 in the end. Then I was sent to talk to Gary the finance manager. Gary typed up all the necessary papers and placed them in front me, one after another for signatures. Gary also assured me that the end total was the agreed on $30,000. Gary mentioned the agreed monthly payment but failed to bring up the fact that that monthly payment would raise the end total to $31,601.08 instead of $30,000. I did not realize this because when Victor was punching numbers mysteriously they all added up to $30,000. I realize that I am at fault as well. If I would have taken the time, hours at minimum, to double check all the documents I maybe would have caught the scam. However, I trusted the Managers and never did it cross my mind that they would try to raise the end price without my knowledge. So, you could imagine my shock and disappointment when I received my finance paper from Nissan and there was an $1,601.08 addition. Upon receipt I called Victor and Gary who never called back. Fours days later I revisited the dealership and brought the situation to Dalila. Dalila said "you had to know that if we raised the monthly payment, the end total would increase as well". I replied, "I assumed because it was a zero percent loan, that if the payment went up so did the term of the loan". In other words they said shame on me for not catching their scam. I guess I assumed. After talking with Bermann associates, they insist they did nothing illegal. While I cannot prove it was illegal, it was in a very grey area of the law. Although Bermann insists they did nothing wrong, I believe they are sending me a small gift certificate, proving they did something under the table. The sales manager at Bermann, was very irrate on the telephone and threatened to sue me if i mentioned his name again. So now i see more and more how this occupy movement all over the world against large corporations who are looking for nothing but profit, is correct. Buyer Beware. More
All staff of this dealership have been awesome. Well, guess what, I little expected the dealer would budge, but, Mid City Nissan gave me few accessories worth much more than what I expected. This is in addition to the fact that, ALL the time , when I brought the vehicle here, they were very courteous and dealt with me very well, especially Mike. I appreciate Mid City Nissan’s service and follow up. More
Mitch Schy was professional and great to work with on phone and in person. I had been heavily researching cars and had driven several kinds. I finally decided I wanted a used subaru outback. I began searching online and approximately one month ago I found the car that I wanted (color, features, year, mileage, price, etc.) and contacted the dealership. Mitch followed up and was able to help answer the many questions that I had regarding features of the car and previous service. We had several phone contacts--usually daily. Mitch would go look at the car in the lot or call the service department next door at Berman's Mid City Subaru where the car had all of its warranty/service work completed. As a result of working with Mitch, I made the decision to drive 4 hours to Chicago to look at and purchase the car I wanted. On the day we drove down (9/10/2011), Mitch had everything ready for test drive and to process my trade-in. Mitch and the other staff worked with me and we quickly negotiated to close the deal. The service department checked on a recall notice and fixed what was required. The financial person helped me obtain a better loan rate as well as a service agreement. All of the staff were courteous, helpful, and friendly. The car looked great inside and out and the detail staff made it look brand new. If I lived near Chicago, I would certainly be bringing my car there for all service. Mitch is GREAT and I definitely recommend Berman's. My 2008 Subaru Outback LL Bean Edition Station Wagon is Fantastic!!! More

I just took my Nissan Sentra in for a service, and had to work with Tracy there. It was awesome. She didn’t keep me waiting at all. The best thing was that, she kept on updating me on whats happening with my work with Tracy there. It was awesome. She didn’t keep me waiting at all. Finally, I was a bit nervous about the bill, and considering the quality and facilities, expected it to be on the higher side, but was pleasantly surprised. It was decent and on par. I am very impressed with Mid City Nissan. My previous experiences at car dealerships were so negative that I assumed buying my new car would be stressful. Dalila helped me get a great price on a new car and also gave me a good amount for my trade-in. She answered all the questions that I had. Mary went on the test drive with me and helped me through the process of buying the new car. She was easy going and sincere which are not typical characteristics for a car salesperson. I would recommend her highly for anyone who is interested in meeting with a salesperson regarding a Nissan. An hour and a half after I walked in the dealership I was driving home with my new car. Everyone there, including the finance person was fast and efficient. The finance person was also friendly and had a good demeanor. Overall, it was a good experience and I'm happy with the car I bought! More

I bought a car from car outlet (first mistake) couple months ago because I got new job and needed a car ASAP. They told me I have a bad credit and I need to get something old, used etc. Long story short months ago because I got new job and needed a car ASAP. They told me I have a bad credit and I need to get something old, used etc. Long story short I ended up with 7 years old car and 450 a month car payment.Then the car broke down. I went to Mid City desperate and Adelita explained me the process after she checked my credit and told me it's not even bad. Two hours later I was driving home in a brand new Nissan Versa with no miles , low monthly payment and interest rate. Luke made that possible.Thank you Adelita and Luke I will come back in coouple years and will tell everyone about you guys. More
