Honda08 – I want to apologize to you that we did not do a good job explaining what is done during the 10,000 mile maintenance check-up. I would agree with you that $100 is a lot to pay for just an oil change. As part of the 10,000 service there are items that are not part of just an oil change or free 19 point inspection. Items like rotating your tires (very important for gas economy and tire life), cleaning, lubing and adjusting the brakes (if not done the brake calipers may stick causing premature break pad wear), adjustment of parking brake, belts, and more. If you need a further explanation I would like you to speak with our Service Department Director, Rick Voss. Rick’s direct phone number is 774-290-1442. Rick would be able to go over the entire list of what is done during that service. I’m upset that we allowed you to leave without answering all of your concerns.
