I have always been more than pleased with the service that I have received from Bernardi Honda, but this experience while not horrible, kind of fell short of what i have come to expect from bernardi, and that I have received from Bernardi Honda, but this experience while not horrible, kind of fell short of what i have come to expect from bernardi, and this is why.... 1. I was told that my service would take 2 hours to complete. I had an 0730 appointment, and the service took 3 hours. I did have 2 extra items completed, one for a noise with the A/C/Heater blower on high in front and back for which I was told the same noise exists on another new Pilot so it must be a design factor. I can live with the noise, and accept it as a design factor, but I don't understand why the extra hour of waiting. 2. Upon paying for the service, I was given a free basic car wash at Scrub A Dub car wash down the street. When I handed the coupon to the attendant for the wash, I was told it could not be used because the proper code was not on the coupon. By this time, I could not back up from the line of cars waiting for a wash, and after paying and getting the wash, it is very difficult to return to Bernardi, especially when I was late for another engagement I had scheduled in Pelham, NH, over an hour away. I am a Federal employee, and left the next day (Saturday) for Tennessee, and will ship the vehicle to Korea on the 21st of August. Again, this is not huge in itself, but it was frustrating mainly because of the lack of ease to get back to Bernardi Honda, and the inability to leave the car wash without paying for one myself. If I thought I would be able to use another coupon from Bernardi before I left Massachusetts, or before I shipped the Pilot, I would have returned to Bernardi and given them the opportunity to rectify the situation. Deceptive Ads, Deceptive Salespeople. I was helping my Deceptive Ads, Deceptive Salespeople. I was helping my sister-in-law find a new Civic. Called Bernardi on Friday, August 31st to inquire about B Deceptive Ads, Deceptive Salespeople. I was helping my sister-in-law find a new Civic. Called Bernardi on Friday, August 31st to inquire about Bernardi's ad on their website for a 2009 Civic EX with auto. Spoke with Joe Acquino and he confirmed the ad was for not for only for just a single model, but any EX with auto. I asked Joe to confirm the numbers on the ad which were $189/month with no money down. Fees listed on the ad were $595 Honda acquisition and $299.75 dealer fee. Joe confirmed these numbers were accurate and the only thing missing was title fee of $111. Told Joe my sister-in-law would call later to set up a time to close the deal. My sister-in-law called Joe later that evening to set a time for Saturday. She again reviewed the numbers with Joe. She visited Bernardi on Saturday to close the deal. Joe wasn't available, so she was told she would work with Joe's boss, Charles Sectish. Charles reviews the numbers with my sister-in-law and tells her she also has to pay for destination fee of $710. She stands her ground and tells him that wasn't part of the deal. Charles tells her OK we will not require her to pay the destination fee. He then comes back and has jacked up the monthly payment to cover the destination fee. To her credit she walked out on them. Do not waste your time with these guys. Their sales people are not ethical and their advertising is clearly deceptive. I intend to register a complaint with the State Attorney General over the deceptive advertising. More

Amir was very knowledgable and helpful without being too pushy. He came over to us as soon as we entered the show room but gave us plenty of space when needed. He was friendly without being phony. I am recommending this dealership but not for the typical reasons you read on this list! I have bought cars and had them serviced at Bernardi Honda for years. The service department works like a well-oiled machine. Their coffee and croissants in the morning are great! It is my experience a few days ago that propells me to write. I came in fully intending to buy a certain vehicle and had even put money down. Sales Manager Mike Pacheco was amazing. He saw my hesitancy and tried to put me at ease. No pressure. He is an honest, friendly guy who knows his inventory. It turned out the color and style was just not right for me and they had sold out of almost all of the 2009's I would have chosen from. Honda Sales Manager Scott Wells was unbelievably fair by giving me a great price and returning my deposit as he had promised. This dealership deserves its great reputation. More

Approximately 3 weeks following my purchase, I stopped by to check out what turned out to be a faulty cell phone cable; asked about rubber mats and specified a color; service technician questioned color choice (good thing I didn't order on-line; he offered to bring out black mats as well as taupe. Taupe did not work (he'd recommended black.) He then installed them. I've never been so pleased with a dealership. More
Bernardi Honda understands what it means to put the customer first. From the moment we walked in, Josh was superb. He helped us find the car that was right for us in the time that we needed to take to customer first. From the moment we walked in, Josh was superb. Buying a car in this economy is not an easy decision and the Bernardi staff never pressured us into the sale. Josh and Hayden were patient, considerate and supportive. Professional, quick and friendly service. I saved by using coupons, was given detailed report on what would be done to my car and how much it would cost. Very positive experience. The only comment I would make is that there be a place for people like me (moms who need to take their children with them when they service their cars) to wait..luckily I had a friend to visit..otherwise, I would have had a hard time keeping my children entertained. My wife & I live in Dedham and first went to prime because it was closer to where we live, needless to say we asked for a price and the salesperson there was very pushy and made insults about our 9 ye because it was closer to where we live, needless to say we asked for a price and the salesperson there was very pushy and made insults about our 9 year old Toyota mini-van, and made my wife feel very uncomfortable, his manager was even more edgy, so we left without buying anything! Our friends had purchased their Honda at Bernardi and recommended Bernardi, even though it was a bit of a drive from where we live, especially with 3 kids out of school for Summer in our 9 year old Toyota Sienna with a check engine light on, but on our way we went! When we got to the Bernardi Honda it was so busy that we couldn't find a sales person to help us! After a few minutes of waiting around we were approached by David Rosendahl the finance manager, he had Jay Grey summoned and told Jay Gray to help us find our favorite new Honda Oddessy, and that he would make sure we get treated professionally. (We had told him of our last experience.) Jay Grey was excellent in helping us get the Honda we wanted. Once we picked out our Oddessy and test drove it, we knew it was the right one to get for our family, my wife was happy, and we asked Jay Grey to show us the price and financing options, within minutes he had price, trade value, payments and financing all set up for us. We then sat with Sasha who was also really nice, and my wife chose some accessories that she thought we would like to have on our vehicle. After that Sasha re-introduced us to David Rosendahl. The finance manager David was very patient especially with my kids whom were very hyper active that day, my wife and I felt that David was great, and that he went above and beyond his responsibilities since Bernardi was so busy. David even got us 3.9% on our Oddessy, and my wife decided to have the 8 year Honda warranty which I thought was a good decision considering our Toyota's air conditioner and power steering broke right after the warranty expired! David made my family feel good and this was the most positive experience we had ever had when buying a car. I definitely recommend Bernardi Honda, but mostly because of their personnel who are caring, courteous, and professional. More
