Bernardi Volvo Cars Natick responded

We recommended renewing the tyres on this vehicle during the last visit. The customer rescheduled and came back to us to have them renewed. The quoted price was listed on the repair order and matched the last visit. The customer signed the repair order acknowledging what she was purchasing. Upon receiving the vehicle back, she decided she no longer wanted these particular tyres and wanted them removed-we explained to her that we could do this but it would take time and the cost of remounting her old tyres. I asked her if the advisor had gone over pricing and if the signature on the repair order was hers and she became explosive and left ranting that she would retaliate by twitter and other online sources.

Bernardi Volvo Cars Natick responded

This customer accused us of not refilling his engine oil after performing a service. The customer had driven 2,375 miles by the time the vehicle made it back to us with the oil lite on. Clearly if we had not refilled his oil the vehicle would not have made it 2,375 miles. We requested to have a feild service engineer from Volvo Cars come out to the dealerhsip and inspect the vehicle. The engineer determined that we were NOT at fault for the failure and in no WAY caused the issue to arise. As far as renewing components while the vehicle was still under warranty-the vehicle is a 2003 model year and went out of warranty back in 2007. Despite all of this, because we greatly value our customers we worked with Volvo Cars as an advocate for the customer and negotiated a goodwill gesture in which Volvo would purchase an engine for the vehicle and we at Lee Volvo would reduce the labor to fit the component. The repair bill was reduced from approx. $10,000 down to less than $2000.00.
