Purchased a brand new 2016 535i from Bert Smith, and at 58,000 miles and out of warranty my power steering went out completely. Service department tells me it will cost me $12,300 to fix everything, which 58,000 miles and out of warranty my power steering went out completely. I was open to the idea of trading it in for a new car if they'd offered to treat me fairly given the low mileage and huge expenses to repair, but no such luck. The car had more problems when they completed the oil change than it did when I dropped it off. The Check Engine light was on when I picked it up, and they never noticed it. My car is a plug in hybrid, and I asked that they charge the battery. They never did. All of the preset radio stations and other settings coded to my key were gone, all the results of a simple oil change! More
