I had total loss of two late model, low mileage BMW cars during flood brought on by hurricane Helene in late September. BMW was advertising promotional Interest rate of 2.99%, I told the salesperson that and he told me the rate is good for financing up to 36 months. if you want 48- or 60-months financing then the rate is 3.99% which I agreed to, based on his remarks. After the storm had passed, I was left with no power and no Internet. A week later when the internet came back, I checked with BMW website, and I found out the advertised interest rate is 2.99% for up to 60 months. I called the Bert Smith BMW to have them correct interest rate. However, the salesperson, finance manager and general manager refused to correct the over charge. I called BMW finance service to complain, they refused to honor their advertised promotional interest rate of 2.99%. I will not be buying any other vehicles from Bert Smith BMW due to misleading me and price gouging during a natural disaster. I have been a repeat customer, owning a 2017, 2019 and 2022 BMWs prior to hurricane Helene. More
