At the end of January 2013, Bob Canning tried very hard to get me a newer car. But unfortunately my credit score and report had some problems, and no transactions transpired. Brian Hall is an excellent salesman and was the one who was able to get me my 2009 Chevy Cobalt LT which is a wonderful car in 11/2010. Jay Freeman did call to explain about the circumstances of Bertera's position with the banks and an error/black mark on my credit report which was the reason Bertera was unable to help me. So I am satisfied with my '09 Cobalt and hopefully my credit report will improve in the future. Thank you! More

My husband and I found Felix to be very friendly and very knowledgeable about the type of used car that we were looking for. He seemed to be very honest and was not pushy. I came in looking for a used car. I ended up leaving with a brand new 2013 malibu. Carl helped us work through everything and was very patient. Just wanted to leave a note of thanks to Paul and Dominic. They were both very Professional helpful and courteous. they helped us get out of a buyers remorse deal from another dealer.. won't say who Dominic. We got into a beautiful new car and have a great feeling of satisfaction and trust. due to their knowledge. If I had to recommend anyone to a dealership it would be to Bertera Chevrolet in Palmer. when we walked in the place was packed and the GM Bob asked us if we were all set and we said no, he set us up with Paul, and we couldn't have been happier. by taking us out of our car that we were upside down in, they put us in a lease to help us build our credit back up and get us out of the car we had.. wish we could have lowered the payment but at least we are done in 3.3 years instead of 5 in a car we didn't like.. Great big thanks to Paul Dominic and Bob. More

I had an issue with an issue with the braking system on my truck after replacing the pads and rotors. I took my truck to Bertera Service Department with much confidence. It appeared to be simple fix and a my truck after replacing the pads and rotors. I took my truck to Bertera Service Department with much confidence. It appeared to be simple fix and a replacement of a sensor. I took it home and drove it the next day only to find that the issue was still happening. It's as if my brakes were engaging while I was driving. I had to have it towed back to Bertera in which Jeoff cordially agreed to take an in depth look at what the root cause what. This time it logically appeared to be that the calipers had over extended the pistons and were engaging against the rotors, so we agreed to replace them. After they were replaced, again I took it home and all seemed well. The next morning I drove it less than a mile and the brakes locked up again. Again I had to tow it back there. This time I was in constant contact with Jeoff and Ron, which I'm sure frustrated the xxxx out of them lol. However, I never once got an attitude or a sign of dismay from either of them. After having my truck for another 2 days, they finally narrowed it down to the Master Cylinder and replaced it. They drove it for quite a while, making sure that they exceeded the average mileage that it took me to drive it prior to the issue occurring. Finally the problem was resolved. Ron had mentioned that he would do everything that he could to make sure that it was fixed and it wouldn't break my bank. Jeoff and Ron were "lifesavers". Being unemployed with kids and having to utilize my savings for a lot of the cost made me worry. However, they were more than fair on the prices they gave me and always gave service with a smile. All in all I would go back to them for any of my repair issues and I will more than likely go back there to purchase another vehicle from them in the future. Thanks again Ron and Jeoff, I am truly indebted to both of you and will send my friends your way. More
Contacted the dealership regarding an AD I had seen online for the car. When I arrived I met with Felix and he was very helpful and even suggested to get financed through the dealership (they beat my c online for the car. When I arrived I met with Felix and he was very helpful and even suggested to get financed through the dealership (they beat my credit union's interest rate which I never expected walking in the door). Felix was great throughout the whole process and although I did have to wait almost a week to pick up my car, the way I was treated was significantly better than most dealerships I've been to (although usually I stray from the bigger dealerships like Bertera). What really cemented my feeling of receving excellent service is seeing the next day I had not one but two missed calls from Bertera. I called back and Felix told me he was just checking to make sure everything was going well. I do not know if this is customary in larger dealerships, but being that I have purchased around ~10 cars in my lifetime and NEVER had this happen to me before, this stood out as exemplary customer service. While I had read many bad reviews of Bertera previous to coming here, and having numerous people say they would never come here again after their experience, I can not say that my own experience left me feeling the same way. If you've ever read reviews before you know that for every customer that has a good experience about 1/10, if that, even write a review letting you know how their experience was. And for every customer that had a bad experience they are certain to write a review or two expressing their frustration. I would recommend coming here and seeing Felix if you want a guy that knows his cars and has owned quite a few himself. More
