I had been corresponding with a few people at Betera Chevrolet before I actually visited the dealership. There was a group email from Kevin, Jill John and Andrew, John Lewis sent me trucks, Cynthia sent Chevrolet before I actually visited the dealership. Finally, a dealership that appreciates a nice small truck. I truly appreciated the attention I received from Johnny Graniela in sales. I came to Betera on my way back from South Egremont. He knew I had to travel, and got me on my way within an hour. I had seen three vehicles within that hour. I had seen the truck I wanted among those three vehicles by the time the test driving was finished. I had even put a deposit down. Great job Johnny. Thank you so much for your time. Initially my experience with this dealership was great but as some time passed, it went sour. I bout a used vehicle from this dealership which would make it the newest vehicle I've ever owned. Although used cars aren't expected to be perfect, I would expect the dealership to cover the basics. When I picked the vehicle up to take it home, the Onstar wasn't working even before I left the dealership. I was told to take it and try to get it working later and call if I couldn't get it going. Coming from an hour away, this didn't seem like a bad idea. I also realized after driving it for a few days that the neither power outlets (cigarette lighters) worked and my right hand signal would not turn off after taking a right hand turn. I called the dealership to make them aware. When I eventually called to make an appointment to bring it in, the appointment was made before my warranty was up but the earliest appointment available was after my warranty was up. Upon showing up for the appointment, I was told I would have t pay for any repairs and at best there would be a $100 deductable for them to fix anything. I was also told I could bring it to any Bertera dealership to get it serviced but was not told that that didn't cover warranty issues. So the Betera dealership 2 minutes away from my job was out of the question so I had to drive a hour back to Palmer, MA just to find out they weren't going to repair the things that were wrong when they gave me the vehicle. Additionally, I made the mistake of signing a GAP Addendum at the time of puchase. You can terminate this agreement at any time for all or a portion of your money back but after contacting the dealership by phone and letter, nobody has gotten back to me to terminate this. Buying this vehicle was my first major purchase and although I like my vehicle, I learned some not so desireable lessons. Thanks alot Bertera. More

I can honestly say that Jay, Marc, Andy and Cynthia at Bertera Chevrolet made one of my dreams come true. Since I was 16 years old, I've always wanted a Black Jeep Wrangler Sahara. I'm now 33 years old and because of Jay, Marc, Andy and Cynthia, my dream has come true. I found the EXACT Jeep that I wanted at Bertera. I called the dealership on a Wednesday. And 48 hrs later, I drove off of the lot with my dream Jeep in tears of joy. The entire experience was incredible. They listened to my every need, treated me with profound professionalism, provided me with the financing needed and did everything they possibly could to ensure that I dove off of the of lot in the shortest amount of time - and with the exact car that I wanted. I live 1.5 hrs away and they even provided me with complimentary transportation until the sale was finalized. Most importantly, they understood precisely what having this Jeep meant to me and they did whatever it took to make it happen. I really can't thank Jay, Marc, Andy and Cynthia enough. I am truly and genuinely grateful to the extraordinary team at Bertera. Bertera sets the gold standard on every level. THE SERVICE AT THIS DEALERSHIP WAS GREAT. THEY LISTENED TO MY WANTS AND MADE SURE I WALKED AWAY WITH THEY EXACT CAR I WAS LOOING FOR. BRYANT DID NOT PRESSSURE OR TRY TO FORCE THE SALE AS OTHER DEALERSHIPS TO MY WANTS AND MADE SURE I WALKED AWAY WITH THEY EXACT CAR I WAS LOOING FOR. BRYANT DID NOT PRESSSURE OR TRY TO FORCE THE SALE AS OTHER DEALERSHIPS DID. INSTEAD HE PROVIDED GUIDANCE TO MAKE SURE I DID NOT PAY FOR SOMEHTING I WOULD HATE I THE LONG RUN. Felix was very nice when we arrived and up until when we purchased our car, after that he seemed bothered by my phone call requesting the spare key we were promised. After "finding" the spare key he seemed purchased our car, after that he seemed bothered by my phone call requesting the spare key we were promised. After "finding" the spare key he seemed annoyed that I asked him to mail me the key and paperwork that they "forgot" to give my son when he picked up his $20,000 car. I expected the friendliness to continue after the purchase but apparently they dont do that. More

I contacted the folks at Bertera, via email, when I was desperately in need of a reliable vehicle QUICKLY! There were so many cars to choose from...I had no problem selecting several (online) that fit most desperately in need of a reliable vehicle QUICKLY! There were so many cars to choose from...I had no problem selecting several (online) that fit most my criteria. I was able to study the information and Car Fax details of each one before arriving at the dealership. I was a little nervous that day, as I was 300 miles from home & driving a rental car that was due back later that afternoon! After meeting Bob and Marc, I realized that none of my issues were insurmountable. As I described, in great detail, exactly what I needed in a vehicle (affordable, great gas mileage, comfortable enough to transport my 92-year-old Mother, space for wheel chair and/or bicycle, and, hopefully, a unique vehicle...maybe a little quirky...like ME!). A couple hours later I was the proud owner of an adorable Nissan Cube! Everyone at Bertera went the extra mile. Truly a great car-buying experience! More

I've experienced some shady car dealership before but this one by far is the worst! My husband and I spoke with Felix and that should have been our first clue! Never have I met anyone that rude! We came in to buy a used and were told almost immediately that we could strongly qualify for a new car lease!! We were shocked and excited obviously! They took use to a new cruze and we were elated! We put down some money and waited and waited and waited! We were then told that we would have to come back the next day cause they were unable to get an answer from the bank. Okay so we did. Still no answer and we were told to come back later that day, we did still no answer! We came back on day three now and we are told yet again no answer!! We decided that we would just go with their guarantee credit approval process and asked to see the cars that we would qualify for. They showed us every car that were unacceptable! They then asked for a larger downpayment and show us even worse condition cars! They even showed us a vehicle that had recently rear ended another car and that had been rear ended as well and the price for the severely damaged vehicle was more than some of the newer nicer condition vehicles!!! I was completely confused and appalled! My husband works in the car business and even he was disgusted! They seem to be the slimest dealership I have ever had the displeasure of trying to work with. Even asking for a refund of the money we put down took forever and we have to keep asking for our card back. Never again will I set foot in that dealership and I have a lot of friends that are looking for vehicles as well and I will be sure to warn against visiting Bertera Chevy!!! More
