Courteous No Pressure Experience I saw this dealership listed on the USAA website and they had the exact car that I was interested in. I contacted them and they got back to me very qu I saw this dealership listed on the USAA website and they had the exact car that I was interested in. I contacted them and they got back to me very quickly and scheduled me an appointment to view and test drive the vehicle. On my way to my appointment I began to experience a little anxiety about what to expect. I was feeding right into all the sterotypes about auto sales people. When I got there I was met by Tara. She was very courteous by first offering me a cup of coffee and an early morning danish. She and I went for a test drive of the vehicle. She even showed the similar vehicles onsite so that I can know what all she had available in terms of what I was interested in. We went back inside to go over the numbers of the vehicle and I thought that this is where the heat would turn up on the anxiety but it never did. She kept things so cool. I told her what I was willing to pay for the vehicle based on certain factors and how much I expected on my trade she took that information to her manager and came back with a YES response. I told her that I need to go home to share the info with my wife before my final decision and she just asked if she could call me on an hour to keep the line of communication open and that sounded reasonable to me. This was the most stress free car buying negotiation that I have ever experienced. I wasn't trying to beat up them and they were not trying to beat me up. We came to a reasonable agreement. Tara was a true customer service professional throuout the process. She contacted me in the hour and set up a time for me to come back in and took a small down payment to hold the vehicle until I return the following day and get the paperwork process started. I returned the next day expecting them to try an change our agreement by further lowballing my trade in and I was fully prepared to walk away if they did but that never happened either. They kept their word concerning my trade in. I came in with my own pre-approved financing and they offered to see if they could beat it but did not pressure me. I declined because I am loyal to USAA because of their customer service and I know they gave me a good APR and it would have been apples for apples at best. I expected the paperwork of purchase, registration and insurance to take most of the day but I drive my purchased vehicle off the lot before noon. Tara even after the purchase continued to provide us outstanding customer service with a call to check up on our satisfaction with the vehicle and she was also very helpful in assisting me to retrieve some items that I had left in my trade in vehicle. We highly recommend Bertera Dige Jeep in W. Springfield Ma. And the customer care and buying comfort of Tara. Also Kudos to Aubrey. He is the one who gets your paperwork rolling with speed to get you home with your vehicle ASAP. HE was a delight to talk with. He is extremely knowledgeable of the business and also a customer Service Guru. Even the mechanics I spoke with outside were courteous and a pleasure to talk with. I'm looking forward to my next purchase with them next Spring to replace my second vehicle. Derrick H. More
