My wife needed a Car right away so I selected a 2017 Sienna mini van, the contract was for $ 24,000 but after getting through the " SLICK " finance department the end price was over $ 30,000. I got screwed due to my oversight I should have be more careful, the desk turns into a magic computer screen, sign here stuff, before I knew it they charged me about $ 3,700 for GAP and a car warranty. I did my research and cancelled these charges before 90 days and the refund did go to the finance company to reduce the amount of loan. So, months later I had service department find out a noise coming from underneath the van the results were about $ 3,400 for repairs under the car warranty, when I mentioned I cancelled it the repairs were reduced to about $ 2,800. I had a local repair shop fix it for $ 600. All dealers do this get as much profit as they can, as a business owner of kitchen cabinets I do need a certain profit to stay in business but everyone gets the same prices, perhaps more honesty is needed in the car business !
