Bev Smith Toyota responded

In response to this user, we do not pull a credit report without an authorized signature by the customer, and if in fact the credit score was in the 800's there would not have been any problem with getting the vehicle financed. Obviously the score was not as stated. Once a deal has been agreed to by both the customer and the dealership and there is a problem with the financing we do not raise the price of the vehicle, we may ask for more down payment but only because the financing company that has given a conditional approval requires it. The option of a pre-owned vehicle is due to nothing more than affordability. As far as the tires and batteries for life program, we discontinued that program August 1st, and yes the requirement was to have your car serviced here following Toyota's recommended maintenance, every 5000 miles not 3000. If you where offered the pre-owned vehicle and it was the same model as the new and it was before Aug 1st then you where offered tires and batteries for life, we had the program on certified pre-owned vehicles also, so if new qualified so did the used. We also have a 30 minute express line for oil changes. It is understandable if a customer gets upset do to financing issues but they should also have their facts in line before making false statements.
