Transmission cable I had warranty work done on April 4 they said it was the safety items to the shifter. I wasn't having any problem. Then today the April 21st it wouldn I had warranty work done on April 4 they said it was the safety items to the shifter. I wasn't having any problem. Then today the April 21st it wouldn't shift out of Neutral had to have it towed to Bev Smith Toyota. They said the cableto the transmission was disconnected and needed to be replaced end it would cost us $450. To me it seems strange that it happened just 16 days after they were done. More

Irresponsible service, arrogant people I have used toyota vehicles throughout my life and currently have 2 toyotas that I do service at Bevsmith. As I took a maintenance plan with my RAV4 p I have used toyota vehicles throughout my life and currently have 2 toyotas that I do service at Bevsmith. As I took a maintenance plan with my RAV4 purchase I have to do my oil-service changes at Toyota- A real foolish decision I made. I came for a regular oil change on last Monday from work during lunch break and waited 2 hours to finish my oil change. Fine. The work was done and my car parked outside garage lot. It took 35 mins to pull my car from garage lot to me. The reason they told was that the guy who attended me was on lunch break. He needs to release my keys. What a xxxxxxxx !!. I had to wait that extra 35 mins as he was on lunch break.OK. I drove back to work and back home and on the way I noticed my signals not working. As you know it's so dangerous to drive in highways and heavy traffic without signals and lights. I went back to Bevsmith and told the problem. They behaved as if like I did something wrong and told they will take a look and nothing can happen to signals or lights with an oil change. I understand that. Anyways they took it inside and did something it started working. They had no explanation for what happened. I went home and next day morning driving to work, my vehicle engine lights, traction and 4 wd lights came on and car was engaging into 4 wheel drive, and transmission not smooth. Again for THIRD time I went back to Bevsmith and explained the problem. The service manager told nothing can go wrong with an oil change and if any repairs I will have to pay for it. OK. See, I came for an oil change and now I am having all the issues. They took it in and after an hour a lady came and told everything is fixed. I asked what was the issue and she told" ONE of the pipe/ hose WAS NOT CONNECTED ". She did not tell me anything else and told I can pick up my car. Gave me no paperwork. I even didn't see the manager. How IRRESPONSIBLE a service can go from a professional Toyota dealer!!!. They behaved as if like I did something purposefully. The guys could not figure out even after I took it back the second time. Very bad service and customer care. I never want to go back. You guys should understand that we pay for all the services, and we are not getting any free favors from you. More
