While a was visiting Texas, my engine light came on, so I decided to take my car for a repair to this service center. They promised that my car will be ready in a couple of days. The next day after the drop decided to take my car for a repair to this service center. They promised that my car will be ready in a couple of days. The next day after the drop off, I received a call letting me know that they did not have the replacement part (turbocharger) and didn’t know when it was going to be available. Since the car was not drivable I had to leave the car there. When I was already on my way home to Chicago, I received a call that my car is ready. I had to drive back to Baytown, pick up the car and drive back to Chicago. On the way back the engine light came back again and the car started to loose power, so I decided to take the car to a GMC service center in Chicago. I ended paying $230.00 for the diagnostic and an estimate of $1,550.00 for the repairs. The most disturbing and frustrating was to heard that the problem was caused because the Big Star Buick GMC didn’t replace the turbocharger correctly, and I have to pay out of my own pocket which it was unfair. My wife upgraded from our old vehicles into two new 2024 vehicles and we seriously couldn't be happier. Our salesman was Alex Rivera and he made the ENTIRE process so much easier with getting us the best de vehicles and we seriously couldn't be happier. We went to an autonation and they never saw us and told to sit down and just had us waiting for almost an hour but as soon as we got out of our vehicles at Big Star, Alex welcomed us and started the entire process of helping us. Seriously THE BEST ONE ON THE TEAM! He was knowledgeable, courteous, and patient when it came to answering all of our questions and allowing us to test drive multiple vehicles. By the end of it we upgraded and my wife and I couldn't be happier! THANK YOU ALEX! More
