Sure they could do that, but the truck would have to stay for 24 to 48 hours. Ouch. Not expecting that. But okay. So, change the oil and check out my battery. I show up at the time expected. The ONE THING that had to be done? No safety inspection. Why? They unplugged the battery. The truck would need to be driven 50 miles before they could do the inspection. The recall? Only half done. Not all the parts were available. But hey, not a complete disaster. Oil changed. And even though they could (you have to pay for a safety check even if your vehicle fails) they wouldn’t charge me for that. You might wonder why no one called me to tell me these things. Nope. All the news was delivered when I got there. So now I have no safety inspection and I have to wait to put 50 miles on the truck and hope I don’t get cited for an expired safety sticker. I have half a repair for a safety recall done. Which means I likely have no choice but to return. Do I want to subject myself to that kind of madness again? No! Beyond disappointing. More
