Hello my name is Anne Newman, I am the Internet Sales Manager. I am here to see if I can address your compaint and hopefully come to a understanding. As I have reviewed you complaint, I am very sorry to hear of your frustration. I know personally when you don't get the results you expect; it makes for a very bad day. Because I like to adresss a person by name, I am going to call you Brittany. (I hope that is okay). We have tried to research your name by your email and unfortunately could not find anything here with your purchase history. My first question is did you purchase this car from us? If you did, can you tell me when and who your salesperson was? Also did you purchase and extended warranty? Brittany, I gather that the problem was solved when the other dealership put a new clutch into your Focus? I talked with our service department, and they said that there is a computer callibration that must take place due to the clutch and the transmission are linked together and do need to be reset to also keep the shaking and jerking. I'm sorry if they did not check that clutch, which appears did not happen. Believe me, if we sold you the car and it is under warranty we would be not give up until you are satisfied. If you paid for a warranty that you purchased from us; we want you to bring your repair needs back to us; as we never want you to be unsatisfied. Again, I am very sorry, I would like to know who the salesperson was that helped you here, so that I can get more information also as I speak with our General Sales Manager of the problem. We do not want to loose you as a customer. We pride ourselves in our committment to you in our sales, service and parts departments. How can we possibly retify this situation? Thank you. I just felt like before performing a service on a car that the owner is thinking will be covered by warranty and then is not and there is a big charge the owner was not expecting is wrong. What if I did not have the money to pay bc I really didn't but had to come up with it bc otherwise they would not release my car. It was just handled wrong

Hello again. If, I may say again, I am sorry this has happened and I do understand your concern. Our service personnel tells me that they did convey the message to who they said was your ex-husband as he delivered the keys to our service technician to have your car repaired. They entered into our system the repaired upon telling him at the counter that upon examination it may not be under warranty and asked if he still wanted the car to be repaired? And he indicated yes and handed the keys to the technician at the counter. I know the expense of having a repair is expensive; especially when the $$ is more than expected it leaves a sour taste in your mouth; and for you; when you spend an approximate extra $47 dollars that you were not expecting to pay. Don't forget your deductable is $100 even if it had been under warranty. I know in your review about us you said you would not ever come back. I hope that you will change your mind. I am here to help you anyway I possibly can to show you that we care about you and your concerns. Please call me at 606-547-1227 (direct contact to me). Well my ex husband that had to car there said they never told him that and he had no idea of a charge until they told him he could pick car up at window and he said he was caught by surprise. So I disagree with their account of how things happened and THEY NEVER TOLD MDCTHAT WHEN I QUESTIONED THEM ON THE PHONE AS TO WHY THEY DID IT. Why would that not have shared that information with me AT THAT TIME. Again sounds "fishy " to me but you all of course will believe them even though it's suppose to be "the customer is always right". Also since when if a car is covered under a warranty is there a $100 deductible. I will have to pull the terms of my warranty. AND IT WAS NOT $48 dollars it was $68!!! Again poor communication and customer service!!! Which is what I would and will share with others in my community about this experience and would not recommend you all again!

Another point as to why I know they did not tell him there may be an out of pocket cost is bc he had no money with him to pay s bill , he had to call me to get it paid. Would it make sense to tell someone to go ahead and fix something knowing there may be a charge and have no money with him to pay for it. NO does not add up to the story they told you. Thank you
