Minor repairs like clock light replacement. Air bag light on. They ordered a seat belt replacement. Three times the wrong color came in. They have had my car five weeks! Try they never answer! Quoted 175.00 bill is at 2400.00?? So short staffed service manager has no time to call. Went in personally because no one answered the phone. Service supervisor had no time for me and service manager had no time for me. A new hire service desk person really tried but I watched each of those men blow him off. My car is being held hostage, I want my car!!!! Never again will I take any car to Bill Collins Ford. I will tell my story to eat one who will Listen. Those tv ads are lies about service. My vehicle was there for a month. Technician said it was fixed. Upon pick up issue was not resolved. Worst dealer experience of my life, flat out crooks! I went it with a turbo leaking coolant and was told over $2,000 to fix, then told me the moonroof which everyone knows, breaks after about 10 uses h I went it with a turbo leaking coolant and was told over $2,000 to fix, then told me the moonroof which everyone knows, breaks after about 10 uses had to be completely replaced motors and all. They quoted that at nearly $2,000 also, not knowing that I was the one that closed it. The motors work fine, it is the guides that break. Beware of this place. They tried to hit me for $4,000 when I got it fixed for under $2,000. More
SERVICE DEPT: An absolute waste of my time. I made an appointment for 8:45 today to have my truck looked at for an issue. When I called I spoke to a very nice lady who asked what was wrong with I made an appointment for 8:45 today to have my truck looked at for an issue. When I called I spoke to a very nice lady who asked what was wrong with the truck, she took down notes and scheduled me for 8:45. Fast forward to today I arrive at 8:40 for an 8:45 appointment, the service person there greeted me and asked what he could do for me. I explained that I had an 8:45 appointment to diagnose the issue (fully expecting I would need to schedule a follow up appointment for the actual repair to happen). He then asked if I was prepared to leave the vehicle for 2-3 days for them to look at it. This is where things go wrong, I explained to him, “no I cannot leave the truck today, that is why I made an appointment for diagnosis” He continued to say that is how every dealer does it now, you cannot wait on a vehicle anymore, if it needs diagnosis it must be dropped of for several days and they can get me a shuttle to drop me off somewhere. That is absolutely unacceptable and a waste of my time. Why was I scheduled for an 8:45 appointment if it doesn’t matter when I drop It off. Furthermore, the individual making the “appointment” should clarify that is a drop off time. This is a terrible way to do business, and again a waste of my time. The gentleman today continued to explain to me that is how every dealer is now, however I have worked with two other dealers recently because I travel and I have never had this issue with either of the other dealers I’ve worked with. I will not be back to Bill Collins Ford, mainly due to lack of communication from the individual on the phone and the smug/“F” you attitude from the service writer that greeted me. Do better. More

I had to have car tolled to Bill Collins Ford on Bardstown Rd Louisville, Ky I contacted the auto repair Dept on Monday morning November 15, 2022. I was told it would be the middle of week when car would be assessed to the problem. It was Nov 23, 2023, that I received a call from repair Dept. stating the problems was broken fuel pump. Really on a 2015 car. The repair was not completed till Dec 6, 2022. I was on easy care, which only gave me 6 days rental at $30.00 a day. At Fords of $38.00 a day. I'm sure that amount of days would indicate that my car should be fixed. I had to pay 20 days for rental car at $38.00 for easy car 6 days and 14 days rental thought Enterprise Car Rental at $38.00 a day. Plus the extra $ 8.00 for 6 day Easy care didn't pay. My total cost out of pocket was $656.60 for car rental. Plus Easy Care Deductible I'm on Social Securty, so that was a great part of my monthly income. I feel, I was taken advantage of as a senior customer. Latting my car sit days longer then I was told, before it was checked out for problem. Plus the time frame for parts and repair. I called Easy Care for assistance with cost of rental car. I was told I was pasted the 60,000 mile to receive extra help. This dealership obviously has issues.
