We live in Brownsburg and would like to support our local businesses. We had purchased an F-150 in June and were very pleased with the experience we had with Bill Estes Ford. We had received a notice that it was time for our F-150 to have its six month check up so we had set up the appointment to have it serviced. We had decided to wait as the service would not be very long. The sales representative that we had purchased the truck from was no longer with the firm but we had received a message from the person that had taken over for him and we decided to meet the sales representative to discuss our plan to look for a replacement for the lease when the time came in a couple of months. Mitch was very understanding and said he would be glad to show us the differences in sizes, shapes, options, pricing, and incentives. In our desire to downsize we were struggling to know what size would be best. I have had both knees replaced so i have some difficulties with getting in and out of some configurations. Mitch was gratuitous enough to take us out to the lot and pull several vehicles out and park them side by side to allow us to try attempt entry and exit maneuvers in both drivers side and passenger side. We then drove an Edge and an Escape to get a feel for size, ride, and comfort. We must have gone back and forth a half a dozen times to figure out the best ingress and egress. Mitch was very knowledgeable and showed us how to set the seat to move automatically from entry / exit to drive positions. After we had determined which vehicle and model would suit our needs we talked a bit about when we would come back after the two month lease expectation date. Mitch talked with his managers and they came back to us with an option to return the lease at their dealership early with no penalties and were able to meet our financial requirements for the new Ford Edge. Cannot explain the level of our satisfaction in this experience. We purchased our first new vehicle in 1971 and have purchased may of them in many different states over the years. From the high pressure sales tactics to the "Parental Advice" including the wait in line during the gas shortage for the next one off the transport, we have seen quite a few different strategies in car selling. We would like to thank the entire team at Bill Estes Ford in Brownsburg for being Genuine, Honest, Courteous, Helpful, Underdtanding, but most of all for being real people willing to listen and take the time to understand our needs and concerns.
