I spoke with Mike Parham on and off via phone and email over the weekend. Nothing serious, just asking many questions. He was very quick in his response and very presonable. On Monday, My wife and I came in to purchase a truck for commuter use, to and from work. We were looking at the newer used trucks as well as one to purchase out right. After getting an approval for the new truck, we were a little hesitant as we really didnt want a payment, especially for what we were needing the truck for. We asked to see the truck that we were considering purchasing outright, and, of course, it was completely different. Mike never compared the two, but knew we needed to make a decision...by oursevles, and gave us time to talk. After the time given, we were able to come up with the decision to go with the truck. As we were sitting there, Zac came up and advised us that he received a better interest rate/monthly payment than what we were orginally going to agree to. After we purchased the vehicle, we met with Bill to go over the legal stuff. He was very personable, and made the time enjoyable...even though we were signing what felt like our life away, lol. Once everything was said and done, Dustin was able to sync my phone to the truck, and explain some options that were on it that I didnt know what they were. He was very knowledgable and friendly as well. I have been to other dealerships where you sit for hours and hours to feel like you are fighting for something you want. I thought this experience wouldnt be any different, and even took time off from work so we didnt have to take the kids with us to sit for hours. To our pleasant surprise...we were wrong. Very wrong. We were in and out in a couple of hours, and part of that time was us discussing which vehicle we wanted to go with. I appreciate Mike, Dustin, Bill and Zac and would highly recommend them and the dealership to anyone. Now, if the service department is as good as the sales team....i will never go anywhere else. Our college age son's car was experiencing multiple repairs, it was time to trade it, buy a newer car for my wife and give her well maintained 2003 Jeep Liberty to our son. We bought the Jeep from Bill Estes in 2004 and decided to go back after visiting a few dealers. They took the old car on trade and we reached agreement on the purchase and trade in very quickly. My purchase from Bill Estes Ford was a little different than the person walking off the street would experience... I actually flew from St. Louis, MO. to purchase my truck. I was a bit aprehensive agreeing to a truck I had only seen pictures of but never driven. I was picked up at the airport promptly upon my arrival by Dustin McAfee who drove me directly to the dealership. As we pulled in there was my truck all shiney, clean and waiting for me. Shortly after I entered the showroom I was greeted by Andy Wernsman who I thought was just one of the other salesman. Come to find out he was the General Manager. The salesman who I had been emailing back and forth with, Mike Parham was busy with a customer but excused himself long enough to come over and greet me warmly. After completing some paperwork with Dustin I sat down with Greg Floyd who assisted me with the financing. I had already received what I thought was a pretty good rate from my local bank but Greg just blew them out of the water. My experience with purchasing this truck from the first email I sent to the moment I walked out the door and got in my truck to drive 4 hours back to St. Louis was nothing short of excellent. These folks couldn't had been any nicer to me. I don't impress very easy but I was extremely impressed by how quickly they got the entire transaction done and got me back on the road and the courtesy and respect they showed me. We have been working with several good, local dealers trying to find the right "first" car for our son. We had a specific budget set to work within and shared this with Michael Balkas. He was very kind, worked hard on our behalf to help us find the right fit within our budget that we set low..yet safe and "cool" enough for our son's first car. ;D We loved how Michael did not pressure us..would check in with us from time to time via e-mail and kept looking for us. On a whim, we dropped in to the dealership yesterday. We left with the right car for our son. It is clean, well maintained and we feel comforted knowing he has a good, reliable car even though it was at the high end of our quiet budget. Our son's safety is first and worth being at the higher end. We appreciated how patient Michael was-he treated us as though we were buying the most expensive car on the lot even though we were far from it. He then introduced us to Greg Floyd, the business manager, who worked to find us an even better rate than the one we had been pre-approved by our own bank. Greg not only found us a better rate-he found one that was half the interest rate! He was very professional as well. Greg took time to answer any and all of our questions, he was very courteous to us, very detailed and made sure we were fully comfortable and confident before signing any paper. We are so thankful for the way Mr. Estes has set the standard for his business...we are even more thankful that his employees carry out the commitment he has put in place! I had a warranty reimbursement issue on a faulty part that I had previously had replaced. After speaking with several others in the Service Dept. on several occasions, I finally spoke to Courtney after that I had previously had replaced.
