Dean Marino is always very helpful, friendly and courteous. I do however, have one complaint about the technical service that was done on my car. I told Dean that I heard a squeaking sound for sev courteous. I do however, have one complaint about the technical service that was done on my car. I told Dean that I heard a squeaking sound for several weeks that occurred when I slowly came to a stop. He relayed that information to the technicians, however, upon picking up my car, Dean said that the technicians never heard the squeaking sound when they test drove the car. Thinking it was a possible brake issue, the technicians evaluated the brakes and the brake pads which were apparently fine. Therefore, they were unable to find the cause of the noise. I insisted to Dean that it was impossible for them to not have heard the noise since it had been a squeaking sound that was starting to occur more and more frequently. When I picked up my car, Dean offered to take a test drive with me to see if he could hear it. Sure enough, while I was driving in the parking lot, within three to five minutes, the noise occurred. In fact, it occurred about four times during the 10 minutes we were test driving the car. Dean lowered his window and listened to the noise, reassured me it was not my brakes and said "whatever it is, it's not life threatening". I trust Dean and I appreciate that he took the time to pursue the noise, however, I am concerned that the technicians didn't take either the necessary or additional time to test drive my car long enough to hear and/or properly diagnose the noise. My car is due for an oil change in 2000 miles. I'm hoping the technicians will be able to diagnose and fix the noise at that point. More
Dean Marino has been an absolute pleasure to work with anytime I have had the car for in for service. He makes sure the work is performed correctly and more importantly does not have unnecessary work per anytime I have had the car for in for service. I bought my first Volvo in 1981 and have owned both Volvo's and Mercedes ever since. I know what to expect from a quality service department, and Dean provides it. More

This was a last minute service appointment before a trip and they made room for me to get serviced the same day. Everyone was very friendly and delivered as promised and on time. My S80 has been in for service for over three weeks and still they can not determine the problem. This is the second time this type of thing has happened with this dealership. The last time it was in for s still they can not determine the problem. This is the second time this type of thing has happened with this dealership. The last time it was in for service, it was there almost 7 weeks! I have no confidence in this dealer and wish there was another option. I will never buy another Volvo because of them. More
Have taken the car in for service twice and both times mentioned a noise in the brakes that occur when backing out of my driveway first thing in the morning. The past 2 times I went in for maintenance service I advised the service department of the noise and both times they said they could not duplicate and thus couldn’t fix. Part of the reason they couldn’t duplicate was due to, as mentioned prior, the issue only happened when the brakes were cold and if I dropped the car off for service the same day how would the brakes be cold. While the routine maintenance went fine the brake noise continued to occur after both service call so, when sent a survey by Volvo North America, I filled it out honestly giving the service an average rating. I wasn't going to make anything of it until I received an irate phone call from the service manager at Bill Kidd. He yelled at me and told me even though he saw the issue on the invoice he couldn’t understand why I would bring it up on the survey. The experience has left me wishing I had never purchased from Bill Kidd. While I have a 5yr 60k maint agreement for the vehicle I will go painstakingly out of my way to find another Volvo dealership who can provide service for me going forward. More
This is a follow-up to my previous rating of this dealership. Still no satisfaction from Bill Kidd's Volvo. When I bought my Volvo as a used vehicle, I was told you buy a "Volvo for life". Mine la dealership. Still no satisfaction from Bill Kidd's Volvo. When I bought my Volvo as a used vehicle, I was told you buy a "Volvo for life". Mine lasted about 3-1/2 years until repaired at this dealership for a fuel line leak. They declined to refund the money for their faulty repair that ended with my 2000 Volvo with 77,000 miles on fire on Goucher Boulevard. It is a total loss. They will not investigate with my insurance company the cause of the fire and will not communicate with me. It will surely end in litigation. They did offer to sell me another Volvo, but I told them I have no confidence in Volvo or Bill Kidd. Beware of this dealership for sales or service. More
I recntly went to Bill Kidds Volvo to find out the radio code for my S40 (I recently changed my battery and it needed re-setting) and the guy I dealt with at the front desk made me wonder whether this deale code for my S40 (I recently changed my battery and it needed re-setting) and the guy I dealt with at the front desk made me wonder whether this dealership has any idea of what customer service means. He was sarcastic and treated me like I did not belong there at all. I have experienced unfriendly treatment in the past and I am starting to wonder on whether this has anything to do with my being a minority?!
