We geared up before we went in, did a bunch of car research and steeled ourselves for the pushy, dismissive experience we remembered having fifteen years ago, last time we bought a car. Either things have radically changed, or Frank is exceptionally fantastic (or both): not only was Frank respectful and patient, but he made sure to fully inform us of everything about the cars we were considering. He took us on test drives of *two* different cars, and was attentive, generous and calming, clear in his explanations but not condescending at all. We walked out with a new car, though we'd only been planning to look--not because of pushy sales, but because we were so impressed. We looked at Subaru because of (1) its great reputation as a snow-capable car and (2) its history of advertising to/welcoming queer women like us. My wife and I definitely feel like we made a great choice. We both love the car, but also feel very lucky to have gotten Frank as our salesperson. Our friend had come with us and was waiting in the lounge while we filled out paperwork for purchase, and Frank checked on her several times and even brought her a bottle of water. This was AFTER we'd decided to buy the car, so it was clearly kindness and not a sales tactic on Frank's part. I cannot reccommend Frank and this dealership enough--honest, straightforward, attentive and respectful. Thank you, Frank! More

He was able to show us the cars we were interested in and was very direct and honest in his manner. He did not try to sell us anything we didn't want. He was very funny and personable. We ended up with a beautiful 2018 Outback, it had a couple of electronic recalls and the dealership was able to address them the same day (we went out for lunch and came back to pick up the car). The dealership has a no haggle policy on used cars and this made the experience feel much more civilized than we expected. All the employees we dealt with at Bill Kolb were very kind and professional and respectful. I only have one negative piece of feedback (and I was pretty annoyed by this) - the car had less than 1/4 tank of gas in it which I did not realize until we drove away. Poor form, in my opinion. Other than that it was a very good experience and I would recommend the dealership, and Holman, to anyone looking for a Subaru. More

When a glitch in my trade-in paperwork occurred, he introduced me to Marty, the finance manager. Marty and Howard were able to work out a plan that enabled me to leave that day with my new car. All the employees were friendly and it was obvious they enjoyed working there. I highly recommend Howard and Bill Kolb Jr Subaru. More

Holman Cano is a great salesman who is both friendly and knowledgeable and put me in a car that fit my needs perfectly. Holman and Joe the Manager worked out a great package for me that fit my budget perfectly and included all of the accessories that I wanted. Also, I have always found the service department to be both accommodating, knowledgeable and fair whenever I needed both maintenance and for any other service issues. Marty is also very easy to work with regarding any of your financing needs. I would highly recommend this dealership if you want to be happy with your new Subaru! More

Our test drive included local roads and parkway driving so that I had an opportunity to see how the car handled in both situations. Back at the dealership Howard explained options and after I decided I really wanted the Ascent, and decided to lease the vehicle, he directed me to Paul in the finance department. I put down a deposit. When I picked up my new car everything was taken care of - all papers were in order ready to be signed. Howard then took us out to the car and spent a lot of time going over each operational function, then sent us out to enjoy the new Subaru. He made it clear that he was available anytime if I had any concerns, questions - that I had joined a "family". All in all, a very easy transition to getting a new car. More
