A Better Car Buying Experience We were referred to Howard Bonfield by a friend who had bought a new Forester from Howard at the Kolb dealership. Howard took the time to understan We were referred to Howard Bonfield by a friend who had bought a new Forester from Howard at the Kolb dealership. Howard took the time to understand our "wants and needs" as we sought to buy a relatively new, used Forester to replace a 20 year old minivan. He showed us the inventory that met our criteria and suggested that we might want to look at a vehicle with some cosmetic issues with a better price point. Ultimately, that car fit our bill. Interestingly, given that the sales folks are on salary not commission, we felt that Howard spent a lot of time with us and never rushed us during the process. The Finance office was pleasant and lacked the hard sell that usually comes with that territory. We are very satisfied with the buying experience. Our only suggestion regards management's post sale communications. We've been bombarded with calls, texts and emails to make sure we're happy. We are BUT please enough with the follow-up. More

He spoke about the car's general features at his desk, and thereafterwards, he took us to the car that we purchased and with a great deal of patience, went over each of the features and made every effort to make sure we understood it. He also mentioned several times that if we had any questions on any aspect of the car, we should not hesitate to come in or call him. His kindness, and sense of humor made our buying experience exceptional.
