It's combination of features, driving dynamics, roominess, build quality, and all wheel drive made it a standout in its segment. Our salesman, Jeff Weiner was a total pro! His level of customer service and professionalism was far and away superior to all the other salesman we had delt with previously. His son Daniel Wiener also worked with us during our test drive and during the pickup procedure of our new vehicle. Both Jeff and Daniel's cheerful attitude, knowledge of their product and attention to detail during the whole process was outstanding. Bill Kolbs no haggle price system was also a bonus. At no time did we ever feel as if we were being taken advantage of, or being pushed into buying a particular car or particular features that were unwanted. Went to BK, had already picked a few cars I was interested in from the website. They have a large selection which I think helps keep the cost right around the Kelly Blue book value. Test drove car, confirmed it was from a lease and decided to purchase. I really appreciate the no stress haggle concept, and didn't feel taken advantage of because I did my homework for a few months on what my model was going for.. At this point, only having the car for a couple of days, I would recommend to other. Howard was good to work with, not pushy, spoke clearly and slowly which was appreciated. More

He even went out of his way to make our dog welcome and comfortable! I had a list of what I wanted in my new Outback and Sam made sure that we got the model that met all our needs! He even took the extra time to take us for a test ride despite my saying it wasn't necessary. He insisted in showing us all the newest updates in the 2016 models. To me- it's all about customer service and we have walked out of other Subaru dealers because of their lack of attention and or hard selling tactics. We have several Subaru dealerships in Westchester however we chose to travel to Rockland to buy ours from Bill Kolb, Jr. Sam made a stressful situation extremely pleasant and enjoyable!! We will definitely be back and buy our next Outback from Sam. More

It was a replacement for the 20 Bob Marcus: I just picked up my new 2016 Legacy from salesman Howard Bonfield @Bill Kolb Jr. Subaru in Orangeburg NY. It was a replacement for the 2014 Legacy I'd purchased from Howard in March, 2014. You might wonder why I was replacing my car after only 21 months. Well, its because 2 weeks ago my 2014 Legacy, with me in it, was broadsided by a large, speeding bus. Thanks to the safety design of my car, I was able to walk out with only bumps and bruises. Alas, the car was "totaled". Last week I called Howard and told him my sad tale. Within minutes he found me a new Subaru in the color I wanted and equipped just as I wanted. I stopped in last Saturday to reserve the car, and today I'm back in a Legacy driver's seat. Howard and the dealership made me forget my recent trauma. Now the little kid in me is tickled pink to have a great new (and considerably improved) new car. Hooray for Howard and the team at Bill Kolb, Jr. Subaru. I'll be recommending them to everyone I know. More

This was the second lease from Bill Kolb and the overall great experience was just like the first time 3 yrs ago (2012 Impreza). I cannot say enough good things about Howard and Ross who were very friendly and went out of their way to make me feel like family. This is the only dealer I have dealt with that was very honest and up front with their pricing and service. Fortunately this dealership is only a few miles from home, but I would have no problem driving over 2 hrs to buy a car from them. You are treated fairly without all the various tactics you come to expect from any salesperson. I will definitely be returning again in 3 yrs to pick up my next Subaru. More

Terrible treatment of customers My father and I drove an hour to make our appointment at Kolb to purchase a 2016 legacy. The salesperson we had our appointment with wasn't there, and My father and I drove an hour to make our appointment at Kolb to purchase a 2016 legacy. The salesperson we had our appointment with wasn't there, and our backup, Rich Knel, wouldn't see us because he had another appointment in "30 minutes." After being shuffled around for several minutes from person to person, one nameless salesperson with glasses met us outside and showed us one car. He then walked us across the street to another lot and showed us two more, batted away our questions and walked away and returned to the office. We were left standing in the rain across the street. We left and drove 15 minutes to Ramsey and bought a new legacy without a problem. Don't bother with Kolb, because they don't treat you with any respect. They literally left us standing in the rain.
