False advertising Called about a Subaru Forester listed on Auto Trader for 17K. Was told by salesman and a manager that the price was 17K, plus sales tax, doc fee and Called about a Subaru Forester listed on Auto Trader for 17K. Was told by salesman and a manager that the price was 17K, plus sales tax, doc fee and tags and title, period. Told them both that our previous vehicle was totaled and we were paying for the vehicle with proceeds from insurance. Drove 20 miles from central Phoenix to see vehicle. Drove it, liked it, decided to buy it. We were then told that the price was 17K only if we were financing, but w/o financing the price was 18K. Nothing in the Auto Trader ad specified that financing was required for the 17K price. Very, very misleading. We walked out. Be careful of these guys! More
