Sales department is great. Service department is TERRIBLE! I brought my newly purchased 6 month old Tacoma in to utilize my tire warranty. I would strongly advise not to purchase a tire warranty ever because i I brought my newly purchased 6 month old Tacoma in to utilize my tire warranty. I would strongly advise not to purchase a tire warranty ever because it's no good anyway. I didn't run over anything in the road, the tire popped and I lost air. Should have been a simple claim right? I had 4100 miles. I took it into Bill Penney service department because it was the dealership where I purchased it and assumed I'd get the great service that I did while I was purchasing. Wrong again. The service technican, Libby, was great. She kept in constant contact with me and answered all my questions. Her boss, Larry Osborne, was not. He kept saying that I hit something and it was up to him to make a claim and insisted the tire didn't fail. After arguing back and forth with him through Libby, (it wasn't her fault and I felt bad for her and still feel bad she has to work with a boss like that.) Mr. Osborne said that he would split the cost of the tire with me. He said my portion was $120.00. I am not stupid and knew the tire didn't cost that much. I had 3 different places quote me less, but I couldn't get the tire within a reasonable time. I called Toyota in Scottsboro and Tim, the service manager, said the tire was only $150. So what was Mr. Osborne "splitting" with me? I told him and he said he would split the cost of that for me. If the tire cost $120 then be honest and say that instead of trying to lead me to believe a lie. I still had to pay $75 for a tire that should have been free because of the tire warranty. While talking to Mr. Osborne face to face I could tell that he was an egotistical chauvinist. He kept saying it was he that made the decision like he's some hot shot. He was very rude. I wonder how many people that he screws over. Please do your research on prices and parts before going into that service department. I would try and go somewhere else, its a rip off with horrible service. I even had my AUX cord broken when I got my truck back. I will never use the service department again! I wish I could rate Libby separately. She was very professional and friendly. My experience would have been much worse if not for her. She deserves a raise! More

Service department is incompetent I left a job there which was supposed to take about 2 hours. At the close of business, the job was apparently still not done and the service advisor I I left a job there which was supposed to take about 2 hours. At the close of business, the job was apparently still not done and the service advisor I dealt with was unavailable. I called the next day at mid-morning and the advisor was going to be unavailable all day, plus there was no record of my job, no ticket, no nothing. Another service advisor offered to try and help and called me late afternoon to tell me my job was ready. When I got there, it was in fact not my job that was ready but someone else's. I called the next morning and the original service advisor had found my job and got it done. When picking it up I noted that the price was double the original quote but at that point I didnt care I wanted out of there, and I told him that he and his department were incompetent. At that point he decided that he needed to come around the counter and seemed as if he were wanting to fight, but his co-workers intervened, yet he followed me to my car. I suggested that he was going to say or do something he should get on with it but now I was being loud and the service manager came over and sent the wold advisor back to his desk. The manager didnt care what the argument was about, only that I was making noise in hsi service lane. This is the best that Toyota can offer in Huntsville, I have had no problems going to other nearby Toyota dealers for parts and service. More

Multiple point inspection did not happen. I showed the service advisor manager my reservoirs of different fluid levels . Battery terminals and post not cleaned of acid or corrosion build up! I'm retired from the Armed Forces. We detect and correct. I was 100percent dissatisfied. Check your vehicle as best you can before departing, I'm glad my visit was not for major service! Good luck Customers on this un trusted service department. That was my first visit. Service advisor name is Matt Hache. My vehicle is a 2011 Avalon less than 75000miles. More
