Bill Utter Jr. was 14 when he started working at Bill Utter Ford. With his new driver's license, Bill began delivering parts for the family dealership. Bill and Virginia Utter opened the doors to their new Ford dealership in 1956 in downtown Denton. It was the beginning of a family tradition of offering the best Ford products and services to North Texas families.
In the early days, they were simply concerned with making ends meet from day to day and treating each customer with courtesy and respect, as they would any friend. Many of those customers became lifelong friends, and the business grew from one referral to another to serve generations. Slow and Awkward I have had my Focus for 2 years and bring it here every time for service. If no one comes to greet you when you pull up it is extremely awkward to wal I have had my Focus for 2 years and bring it here every time for service. If no one comes to greet you when you pull up it is extremely awkward to walk into the service center with about 10 desks full of people and not one of them says anything to you. So you have to awkwardly stand there until someone deems it necessary to talk to you. I dropped my car off around lunch time for an oil change. I then got a call/Voicemail around 3PM asking me to call back. I called back 4 times and no one ever picked up the phone. So I called the main line and waited for them to find the man doing my service. He told me I needed 4 new tires and new filters which is totally fine but when I asked for the price of the tires he said he would have to call me back. So I waited 45 more mins for him to call me back and then did not want the tires after the quote was high and so he said wait 30 more mins before coming in to get my car. So it took this dealership 4 hours and 6 phone calls to complete a simple oil change. More
