Bill Utter Jr. was 14 when he started working at Bill Utter Ford. With his new driver's license, Bill began delivering parts for the family dealership. Bill and Virginia Utter opened the doors to their new Ford dealership in 1956 in downtown Denton. It was the beginning of a family tradition of offering the best Ford products and services to North Texas families.
In the early days, they were simply concerned with making ends meet from day to day and treating each customer with courtesy and respect, as they would any friend. Doyle Chaffin sat patiently with me in my new car - Lightening Blue Escape SE - and explaned all the features . A tech person helped me set up all the tech things that needed Sync information. As I am in my 70's and had not had a car with all the Tech features before, this process was very important to me. Doyle has followed up to make sure everything is good Mike Lewis was my finance persona and was very helpful in setting everthing up! I highly recommend everyone at Bill Utter Ford in Denton, Texas!! Great people After going to several other Ford dealerships and getting hassled for many hours with what seemed to be a bait and switch, I happened onto Bill Utter. The traffic from Fort Worth to Denton took longer to get through than the car purchase. We were in and out with keys in hand in less than 2 hours. The people were great and want you to be happy with your purchase. I will definitely be back the next time I'm in a market for a vehicle. More
