After much looking for a new lease vehicle we decided on the MDX. I turned in a cadillac and we liked what the MDX had to offer. I had been speaking with a few Acura dealers who either wanted me to come to the dealership to "talk" or didn't have the car I wanted. I didn't have time to waste going around to dealers. Frustrated by the games some other dealers played, I contacted John in the internet sales dept. as a last resort, I told him exactly what I wanted and what I was willing to pay and in just 2 calls we agreed on an price and a pickup date. I went to the dealer to sign the papers that afternoon and met with Dan Wang my sales consultant, who would take me through the rest of the process. I was concerned because although we had agreed on a price, they didn't have my first color choice, they had my second but not the first. To my suprise Dan went out of his way to locate the color car and have it ready for me as promised. I really could not believe it. This was the easiest purchase ever, no pressure and they actually got me the car I wanted! I would definately recommend this dealer. More
I purchased a 2010 MDX on Saturday, after an email process with John Mollicone in internet sales over approximately a month. It took that long because of my schedule and the adoption of a new puppy, m process with John Mollicone in internet sales over approximately a month. It took that long because of my schedule and the adoption of a new puppy, making my time not my own. John could have assisted me with the same purchase result in 24 hours. I was the hold up. John was never pushy. Instead, he treated me with respect, acknowledging that I hate the telephone, hate to haggle and wanted a clear cut, straightforward purchase process. He looked high and low for the color combination I wanted and made it happen by strategically getting a very sought after car from another dealer through some savvy negotiations with them. My husband and I then worked with Ryan VanHara for the completion of the purchase process and Ryan also was professional, efficient and knowledgeable. He was patient with some last-minute angst over color options, after they had ordered and had delivered the color I originally whined for. I'm sure that's not a totally rare occurrence, but he still handled us patiently and with aplomb. When I completed the sale, I was handed over to Ed Simo, the dealership's business manager. This is typically the last stop in a dealership and the one I dread MOST as I frequently find it uncomfortable due to aggressive tactics to sell after market options. My experience with Ed was pleasant, professional and thorough, but not at all pushy. Everything was accomplished quickly and without tactics I typically abhor. My 2001 and 2005 MDXs have driven me to Bridgewater Acura for service over the past 9 years and my very positive experiences in the service department are what brought me to the dealership to look for a new MDX last month. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish. CAR BUYING DOES NOT HAVE TO BE HORRIBLE! Thank you John, Ryan and Ed. More
Dealerships can promise the world during a sales pitch or a negotiation process. None of what they say really matters. What matters is when the rubber meets the road....no pun intended...and you need them. a negotiation process. None of what they say really matters. What matters is when the rubber meets the road....no pun intended...and you need them. I have a 2001 MDX with 170k miles and a 2005 MDX with 120k miles. The Bridgewater Acura service team has worked with me for years, providing outstanding hospitality, flexibility and commitment to me as a customer. With the demands of my career, I always need a loaner. It's never a problem for Tom Foster or Brian to find one for me and accommodate my schedule. Last week I bought yet another MDX. My husband wanted me to look at Mercedes and BMW and Audi wagons. But after 34 years of driving and experiencing other dealerships through his BMWs and Audis...I said, "No thanks. I want Tom and his team to continue to be my road warrior partners." Bridgewater Acura's service department is stellar and Tom's no-nonsense, no-BS, calm demeanor is a true asset when a harried, 50 year old working mother has an issue. ;-) I recommend them highly. Drove my 04' Saleen up to Bridgewater Acura this month to pick up my 07' Audi RS4 after negotiating the entire deal via telephone with John Mollicone who works in the Internet Department. Before and during pick up my 07' Audi RS4 after negotiating the entire deal via telephone with John Mollicone who works in the Internet Department. Before and during my visit I also spoke with Tina Syanislawczyk who works with John Mollicone in the Internet Department and Michael Lasko, the dealerships Used Car Manager. I received a great trade in value for my Mustang, they were able to work with me on the price of the RS4, even got me financing that beat my credit union's interest rate. Mind you I live in Ohio and drove 9 hours to Bridgewater Acura in New Jersey. This was the first time ever purchasing a car out of state. The team at Bridgewater Acura could not have been more accomodating, friendly, fair and helpful. I would recommend contacting John & Tina in the Internet Department if you are considering a New Acura or a great Pre-Owned car. They changed my mind about car buying and have proven that not all car people are bad people. Hope this helps anyone in the market for a new or used vehicle. More
I took my car there for service. I ended up with more damage to my car and more safety issues coming out, i was better off just taking my car to any mechanic. I thought the dealership would treat my car damage to my car and more safety issues coming out, i was better off just taking my car to any mechanic. I thought the dealership would treat my car with more care because it is an acura and they are an acura dealer, but instead, they scratched 3 of my wheels when mounting tires, they scratched my door with the lift, they left fasteners out of panels they accessed in my car and under my car, they left a lugnut next to my battery under the hood (wasn't even my lugnut!), they left the screws loose in the brake disk (hence the scraping noise i heard driving home). On top of all these service issues, they are not very customer friendly. In fact, the manager told me that if he knew how "particular I was" he would have refused to service my car to begin with!! I could not believe he called me particular because i wanted them to make good one the damage they admitted to doing on my car and because i would like all the screws tightened and fasteners put back in place!! they have to be kidding me. I would never go back there again....for anything! More
The problem with this showroom is frustration because of lack of busines I did not have bad experience there..my experience was good with them. Only flaw is they don't have bargaining skills. But i encoura lack of busines I did not have bad experience there..my experience was good with them. Only flaw is they don't have bargaining skills. But i encourage people to try this showroom for sure. "Whatever is good for me need not be good for others." The problem with luxury car dealers is bargaining skills, and price negotiation. Visit any of the Mercedes,Infinity,or BMW dealers..Story is same At least keeping in mind the market condition, the prices should be touching bottom in the days to come.. More
